North Xizang Road station

Line 1 is a north-south line of the Shanghai Metro. It runs from Fujin Road in the north, via Shanghai Railway Station to Xinzhuang in the south. The first line to open in the Shanghai Metro system, Line 1 serves many important points in Shanghai, including People's Square and Xujiahui. Due to the large number of important locations served, this line is extremely busy, with a daily ridership of over 1,000,000 passengers. The line is colored red on system maps. Generally, the line runs at grade beside the Shanghai–Hangzhou railway in the south, underground in the city center and elevated on the second deck of the North–South Elevated Road in the North.

Hongkou Football Stadium (simplified Chinese: 虹口足球场; traditional Chinese: 虹口足球場; pinyin: Hóngkǒu Zúqiúchǎng) is a football stadium in Shanghai, China. Located in Hongkou District, the stadium has a maximum capacity of 33,060. It is the first ever football stadium to be built in China. The stadium was re-built in 1999, over the previous 46-year-old Hongkou Stadium, a general use sports stadium now replaced by the Shanghai Stadium. It is adjacent to Lu Xun Park.

North Zhongshan Road (Chinese: 中山北路; pinyin: Zhōngshān Běi Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. This station is part of the northern extension of that line from Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun that opened on 28 December 2004. It is named after Zhongshan Road, the inner ring-road of Shanghai.

Yanchang Road (simplified Chinese: 延长路; traditional Chinese: 延長路; pinyin: Yáncháng Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. It is located in Jing'an District along Gonghexin Road (which is underneath the North–South Elevated Road), and is the first station outside the Inner Ring Road when travelling northbound from the central Huangpu District. This station is part of the northern extension of that line from Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun that opened on 28 December 2004.

Zhongxing Road (simplified Chinese: 中兴路; traditional Chinese: 中興路; pinyin: Zhōngxīng Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007. Lines 3 and 4 pass by without stopping.

Lu Xun Park, formerly Hongkou (Hongkew) Park, is a municipal park in Hongkou District of Shanghai, China. It is located on 146 East Jiangwan Road, right behind Hongkou Football Stadium. It is bounded by Guangzhong Road to the north, Ouyang Road to the northeast, Tian'ai Road to the southeast, Tian'ai Branch Road to the south, and East Jiangwan Road to the west. The park is named after the Chinese writer Lu Xun, who lived nearby in the last years of his life, and is the location of the tomb of Lu Xun and the Lu Xun Museum. In 1932, Korean nationalist Yun Bong-gil detonated a bomb at the park, killing or injuring several high-ranking figures of the Imperial Japanese military during a celebration of Emperor Hirohito's birthday. Lu Xun Park is just north of Duolun Road, a historic street that is now a car-free zone. It is also located near Lu Xun's former residence, a three-story Japanese-style home where the author lived from 1933 until his death in 1936.

Hongkou Football Stadium (simplified Chinese: 虹口足球场; traditional Chinese: 虹口足球場; pinyin: Hóngkǒu Zúqiúchǎng) is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 8 on the Shanghai Metro. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town; the interchange with Line 8 opened on 29 December 2007 as part of that line's initial section from Shiguang Road to Yaohua Road.To interchange between these two lines it is unnecessary to exit the station and re-enter, though the platform for Line 3 is located above ground, while the platform for Line 8 is entirely underground, there has been escalators in the fare area since 2012, incorporated into the recently built Hongkou Plaza shopping mall. Furthermore, the Line 3 platform has no barrier-free ground access, preventing transfers by disabled people without assistance.

The tomb of Lu Xun is the burial place of the Chinese writer Lu Xun (1881–1936), located in the northwestern corner of the Lu Xun Park in Hongkou District, Shanghai. Covering an area of 1,600 square metres (17,000 sq ft), the tomb of Lu Xun was built in 1956, and in the same year, the remains of Lu Xun was moved to this tomb from the Wanguo Cemetery of Shanghai. The tomb of Lu Xun was listed as the first batch of the major historical and cultural site protected at the national level, by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, on 4 March 1961.

Hongkou , formerly spelled Hongkew, is a district of Shanghai, forming part of the northern urban core. It has a land area of 23.48 km2 (9.07 sq mi) and a population of 852,476 as of 2010. It is the location of the Astor House Hotel, Broadway Mansions, Lu Xun Park, and Hongkou Football Stadium. It was once known as Shanghai's "Little Tokyo" Hongkou is home to the Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), and the 1933 Old Millfun.

Dongbaoxing Road (simplified Chinese: 东宝兴路; traditional Chinese: 東寶興路; pinyin: Dōngbǎoxīng Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 3. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town. Towards South, this is the last station before sharing with Line 4.

Duolun Road (simplified Chinese: 多伦路; traditional Chinese: 多倫路; pinyin: Duōlún Lù; Shanghainese: Dulen Lu), formerly Darroch Road (窦乐安路; 竇樂安路), is a historic street in Hongkou District, Shanghai, China.

The Gurdwara Shanghai is the site of a former Sikh gurdwara in the Hongkou District of Shanghai, China and is a registered cultural relic. It was built from 1907 to 1908 to meet the religious needs of Indian patrolmen and other Sikhs who had come over with the British. At the time of its construction, it was part of the Shanghai International Settlement, an area of Shanghai which was jointly administered by British and American authorities under a treaty with China. The site is now a residence and serves as a community health clinic.
