Imajuku Station

Kyūdai-Gakkentoshi Station (九大学研都市駅, Kyūdai-Gakkentoshi-eki) is a railway station in Ōaza Tokunaga, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Chikuhi Line.

Susenji Station (周船寺駅, Susenji-eki) is a railway station in Susenji 1-chome, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Chikuhi Line.

Shimoyamato Station (下山門駅) is a railway station on the Chikuhi Line in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Chikuhi Line.

The Genkō Bōrui (元寇防塁) was a defensive stone wall, 20 kilometres (12 mi) long, constructed along Hakata Bay in Fukuoka Prefecture. Japan in preparation for an attack by Mongol forces of the Yuan dynasty after the first attack of 1274. The second attack of 1281 was thwarted by a typhoon, or kamikaze, and the Mongols were forced to withdraw. In the Edo period, some of the stones were reused for the construction of Fukuoka Castle, though Genkō Bōrui has remained intact at several points along the Hakata Bay. It was originally called "Ishitsuiji" (石築地). It was designated a National Historic Site on March 30, 1931.

Nokata Site (野方遺跡, Nokata iseki) is an archeological site with a late Yayoi period to early Kofun period settlement located in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It was designated as a National Historic Site in 1975.

Itokoku History Museum (伊都国歴史博物館, Ito-koku Rekishi Hakubutsukan) opened in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan in 2004. It supersedes the former Ito Historical Museum (伊都歴史資料館), which opened in July 1987. With a focus on cultural properties excavated from the area, the museum's collection numbers some 19,500 objects. The display includes an assemblage of Yayoi-period artefacts excavated from the Hirabaru burial site (平原遺跡) that has been designated a National Treasure.

Hatae Station (波多江駅, Hatae-eki) is a railway station on the Chikuhi Line in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, operated by JR Kyushu.

Nishi-ku (西区) is one of the seven wards of Fukuoka City, Japan. Meaning literally "west ward," it is bordered to the east by Sawara-ku, and to the west by Itoshima. As of 2003, it has a population of 173,813 people and an area of 83.81 km2. As of 2016, its population had increased to 206,000 people. It has recently gained additional infrastructure in the form of the Nanakuma Line, in addition to the Fukuoka City Subway and the Chikuhi Line. At the time of Fukuoka City's official designation as a City in 1972, Nishi-ku covered an larger area than it does today. On May 1, 1982, Nishi-ku was subdivided into the three smaller wards of Nishi-ku, Sawara-ku and Jōnan-ku.

Sky Dream Fukuoka (Japanese: スカイドリームフクオカ) was a 120-metre-tall giant Ferris wheel in the city of Fukuoka, Japan, operating from December 2001 until September 2009. It was 120 metres (390 ft) tall, making it the tallest Ferris wheel in Japan during its years of operation. It was located in the Evergreen Marinoa (Japanese: エバーグリーンマリノア) entertainment facility adjacent to the Marinoa City Fukuoka mall, which itself features a smaller, 58-metre-tall ferris wheel. The gondolas were all air conditioned and accessible for wheelchair-users. One full rotation took approximately 20 minutes. Sky Dream Fukuoka closed on 26 September 2009. It was subsequently sold to a Taiwanese company for rebuilding at Lihpao Land in Taiwan. Dismantling work commenced in 2010, although work was disrupted in July 2011 when supports failed, causing two cranes involved in dismantling to topple over, injuring one workman and damaging four cars.

Hashimoto Station (橋本駅) is a subway station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka in Japan. Its station symbol is a picture of maple leaves in front of an orange mountain, because there used to be Momiji-Hachimangu(ja:紅葉八幡宮).

Yoshitake Takagi Site (吉武高木遺跡, Yoshitake Takagi iseki) is an archeological site with a Yayoi period cemetery located in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It was designated as a National Historic Site in 1993, with the area under protection expanded in 2000. The designated area including the additional designated area is 42,145.17 square meters, which is approximately one-tenth of the area of the entire ruins group.
