Open Door Christian School is a private, coeducational, K-12 Christian school in Elyria, Ohio. It is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry of Church of the Open Door. Their school mascot is the Patriot and their colors are white and royal blue. Open Door Christian School is often referred to as 'ODCS'. Lorain County Speedway is an auto racing track located in Amherst Township, Lorain County, near South Amherst, Ohio, USA opened in 1949 as a 1/3 mile dirt oval. It was paved between the 1960 and 1961 racing seasons. It is currently a 3/8-mile asphalt oval, with 12 degree banking in both turns, and slight banking on the straightaways.

Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZOB) or Cleveland Center is located at 326 East Lorain Street, Oberlin, Ohio, United States. The center is located about 30 miles (48 km) outside of the city of Cleveland. The Cleveland ARTCC is the 3rd busiest of the 22 Air Route Traffic Control Centers in the United States. It oversees the airspace over portions of Maryland, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, as well as the southernmost portion of Ontario, Canada.The Air Route Traffic Control Center was first planned in 1958. The site was chosen due to Oberlin's location near Cleveland, though far enough away from the metropolis to be safe in case of war. The nearby community of Medina, Ohio was also under consideration, but lobbying by the Oberlin city government brought the center to its present location.During the September 11 attacks, the Cleveland ARTCC handled the radio traffic from United Airlines Flight 93, which was inside the center's airspace from before the hijacking to the time of its crash.

Tank Hall, also known as Tank House and Tank Cooperative, is an 1897 Queen Anne living and dining cooperative owned and maintained by Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, United States. Originally the Tank Home for Missionary Children, the house underwent a series of renovations before becoming the co-op it is today. It currently operates as one of the Oberlin Student Co-operative's co-ops.

Keep Cottage, also known as Keep Cooperative is an 1839 post-Victorian tudor revival mansion owned and maintained by Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, United States. Originally home to the Reverend John Keep, the house underwent a serious renovation in 1911 in order to transform it into a college dormitory. In 1965, it is a rental property of Oberlin Student Cooperative Association, the second largest student cooperative in the United States. It is named after its primary trustee, the reverend John Keep, an abolitionist who cast the deciding vote that let African-American students attend Oberlin College, the first institution to do so.

Savage Stadium was a 3,000-seat outdoor, grass-field football stadium, part of a football complex including the adjacent Dill Field, on the campus of Oberlin College, in Oberlin, Ohio. The stadium hosted primarily Oberlin's varsity football home games. It was formerly the site of Oberlin's home soccer and lacrosse matches as well as track and field meets and includes a seven-lane all-weather running track. However, since the completion of the Fred Shults Soccer Field and Robert Kahn Track in the Fall of 2006, the stadium has been used primarily for football.

Congregational Church of Christ (also known as Congregational Church of Christ at Oberlin or First Church) is a historic church at W. Lorain and N. Main Streets in Oberlin, Ohio. Currently the church is occupied by a United Church of Christ congregation. Richard Bond (architect) did drawing for the church.The church was built in 1842. For 37 years it was led by prominent abolitionist Charles Grandison Finney, who was also president of Oberlin College. Other abolitionists such as Frederick Douglass and Ralph Waldo Emerson led meetings here. Prominent speakers have included Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Booker T. Washington, Mark Twain and President Woodrow Wilson. The Congregational Church of Christ was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
