The shopping center hosts 57 retail stores and is anchored by Jewel-Osco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Petsmart, Michael's, Best Buy and an 18-screen AMC Theatres cinema. A parking garage connects to AMC Theatres and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Fasman Yeshiva High School, known colloquially as Skokie Yeshiva, is an Orthodox Jewish all-boys high school in Skokie, Illinois. As of the 2020-2021 school year, the school has 120 students enrolled in grades 9-12. Fasman Yeshiva offers a dual curriculum of secular and Judaic studies.

Niles West High School, officially Niles Township High School West or NWHS, is a public four-year high school located in Skokie, Illinois, a north suburb of Chicago in the United States. It is part of Niles Township Community High School District 219, which also includes Niles North High School. Its school teams were originally the Indians, but this was later changed in 2001 to the Wolves. Its feeder middle schools are Lincoln Junior High School (located in Skokie), Fairview South School (located in Skokie), Lincoln Hall Middle School (located in Lincolnwood), Culver Middle School (located in Niles), and Park View School (located in Morton Grove).

Touhy Avenue is a major street throughout northern Chicago, Illinois as well as the north and northwestern suburbs of the city. It is named for Patrick L. Touhy, a subdivider who was also the son-in-law of Phillip Rogers, an early settler who helped develop Rogers Park. Points of interest along Touhy Avenue include Loyola Park, the Winston Towers, the Lincolnwood Town Center, Lincolnwood Produce & Grocery, Loeber Motors, Hebrew Theological College, Village Crossing Shopping Center, Pointe Plaza, the Shure Headquarters Building, the Leaning Tower YMCA, the Pickwick Theatre, and the northern end of O'Hare International Airport.

Skokie Public Library has been serving the community of Skokie, Illinois, since 1929.In 2008, the library received the National Medal for Museum and Library Service for outstanding community service.The Skokie Public Library offers a range of free online resources that could be used for research, learning, and informational needs. The Skokie Public Library transitioned to a digital reference collection, and now uses the superfluous space as an office suite that is lent hourly to patrons. This allows patrons with start-ups the opportunity to meet with clients. The space contains three rooms, is equipped with WiFi, can accommodate up to fifty people, and opened in November 2012. Its other spaces include an auditorium that seats two hundred and study rooms for both youth and adult patrons. In January 2020, the library began renovations to its building. This work improved accessibility, as well as adding more community meeting rooms, an adult makerspace, inclusive restrooms, and more comfortable seating areas and study spaces. The renovation is scheduled to be completed in early 2021.

The Leaning Tower of Niles is a half-size replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Located in Niles, Illinois, it was completed in 1934 by industrialist Robert Ilg as part of a recreation park for employees of the Ilg Hot Air Electric Ventilating Company of Chicago. It is situated at 6300 W. Touhy Avenue.Some speculate that part of the motivation to construct the tower was to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. A more likely explanation is its original functional purpose, to store water for outdoor recreational swimming pools. In 1960, the descendants of Robert Ilg donated part of the park for the construction of the Leaning Tower YMCA. Other amenities of the employees' recreational park included a wooden toboggan run, which was in decay but still visible in the 1960s. A study in 2014 concluded that the Leaning Tower of Niles is in need of about $600,000 in repairs.On November 17, 2015, the Niles Village Board approved a proposal for the village to purchase the Leaning Tower from the YMCA for $10. The Board also approved a contract to spend $550,000 to repair and renovate the building.On March 15, 2016, Niles voters passed a non-binding referendum approving of the village spending the money to renovate the tower.The Leaning Tower of Niles contains five bells. Three of the bells are thought to be several hundred years old, and to have been cast in Italy. How they came to be included in the tower is not known.The tower was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Edgebrook is a commuter railroad station on Metra's Milwaukee District North Line in the Edgebrook neighborhood of the Forest Glen section of Chicago, Illinois. The station is 11.5 miles (18.5 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line, and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Edgebrook is in zone C. As of 2018, Edgebrook is the 74th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 701 weekday boardings. This is the last station outbound in Chicago city limits. As of 2022, Edgebrook is served by 15 inbound trains and 14 outbound trains on weekdays, by all 10 trains in both directions on Saturdays, and by all nine trains in both directions on Sundays.

Wildwood is a neighborhood located in the Forest Glen Community Area on the Far Northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. The community is triangular in shape and is bordered by Lehigh Avenue, Caldwell Avenue (Route 14), Touhy Avenue, and Devon Avenue. The Edgebrook Metra Station faces Wildwood at the intersection of Devon, Lehigh, and Caldwell. The most notable features of Wildwood are rustic, including curb-less streets and massive trees towering above the homes. A satellite view of Wildwood compared to other nearby Chicago communities shows its number of trees. Wildwood provides the entrance to Bunker Hill Forest Preserve and the North Branch Bicycle Trail (ending at the Botanical Gardens in Glencoe, Illinois). The community of Wildwood contains few businesses or rental options, as it is primarily a community of single-family homes. The neighborhood is home to Wildwood Park and Wildwood Elementary School. Wildwood Elementary is now known as Wildwood World Magnet School after undergoing extensive renovations in the last decade.

Old Edgebrook is a historic district and neighborhood in the Forest Glen community area of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is located between Central and Devon Avenues and the Edgebrook Golf Course. It is surrounded on all sides by Cook County Forest Preserves.
