Olešník

The Battle of Sahay or Zahájí was fought on 24 May 1742 near village of Zahájí, about 15 km (10 mi) northwest of České Budějovice in southern Bohemia, between the French under the Duc de Broglie and the Austrians under Lobkowicz. The battle was part of the War of the Austrian Succession and was conducted in cooperation with the Prussians under Frederick the Great who had defeated the Austrians a week previously at the battle of Chotusitz. Broglie won a small, but politically important, victory which combined with Frederick's success at Chotusitz disposed Maria Theresa to cede Silesia in the Treaty of Breslau on 11 June 1742.

Temelín Nuclear Power Station (Czech: Jaderná elektrárna Temelín, abbreviation ETE) is a nuclear power plant in Temelín, Czech Republic. It is owned by ČEZ Group, which employs 1,000 workers at the site. The adjacent castle Vysoký Hrádek serves as an information centre. In 2003, the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant, with its 2,180 MW of installed capacity, became the largest power resource in the Czech Republic and the largest source of zero-emission electricity generation by far.

Vysoký Hrádek is a Renaissance castle in Temelín, Czech Republic Lords of Březí, from the court of Knín and Býšov originally constructed the fortress and courtyard. The first records we have are of Albert of Březí, who died in 1367. The fortress was inherited by his son, Svatomír, and then by another two sons of Albert, Smil and Bušek. After the Lords of Březí died out, the fortress, called Hrádek, was inherited by their relatives, the Lords of Býšov. After changing hands dozens of times, in 1948, the estate was confiscated as part of land reforms in the country, and now houses the information center for the Temelín Nuclear Power Station. Several exhibits using computer graphics and films explain how to control nuclear reactors, and reactor physics and safety.
