Ston Easton Park is an English country house built in the 18th century. It lies near the village of Ston Easton, Somerset. It is a Grade I listed building and the grounds are listed Grade II on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.The current house was built around 1750 to 1760 on the site of a Tudor building. The architect may have been Thomas Paty. It was occupied by the descendants of the commissioning owner, John Hippisley-Coxe, until 1956. Since then owners including William Rees-Mogg and Peter Smedley have been involved in restoring the house, which is now in use as a private house for events. The two-storey house has a symmetrical facade with projecting wings either side of the central doorway with a Tuscan portico. The interior of the stone house is decorated with extensive plaster mouldings to ceilings and fireplaces. The grounds and gardens were laid out by Humphry Repton, but have since been reduced in size.

Cloud Quarry (grid reference ST630577) was a quarry near Temple Cloud, in the limestone of the Mendip Hills, in Somerset, England. During World War II a factory was built in the disused quarry to make wings and tail planes for Lancaster bombers. Parnell was the company who moved here after their Yate factory was bombed. The roof was painted blue in an attempt to fool German bombers into thinking it was water in a quarry. The factory is now used for light industry and workshops including a trapeze school.

Ston Easton is a linear village and civil parish in the English county of Somerset. It is 14 miles (23 km) southwest of Bath and 7 miles (11 km) north of Shepton Mallet. It forms part of the Mendip district and lies along the A37 road 11 miles (18 km) south of the cities of Bristol and Bath and to the west of the town of Midsomer Norton. The parish includes the hamlet of Clapton.

The Anglican Church of St Mary the Virgin in Ston Easton, Somerset, England, is a Grade II* listed building dating from the 11th century, with a 15th-century embattled 3-stage west tower.The most striking interior feature is the Norman chancel arch, with semi-circular head and colonettes. The pews, choir stalls, altar rails, pulpit, font and screen are all 19th century. There are several 18th and 19th century wall monuments particularly to the Hippisley Coxe family of Ston Easton Park, who have their own chapel at the east end of the north aisle.The chancel was rebuilt in 1707 and the south aisle around 1800.The church underwent significant rebuilding in the 19th century, by Arthur Blomfield, which included dismantling most of the building including the Norman arch, marking each stone and then rebuilding them in the same position.The parish is part of the benefice of Chewton Mendip and the archdeanery of Wells.

Stephen's Vale Nature Reserve is located in a small wooded valley south of Greyfield Wood and west of High Littleton in Somerset, England. It is known for its two-stage, 15 foot high waterfall, which is on a tributary of Cam Brook.

Highbury Hill in Clutton, Somerset, England is the site of the earthwork remains of an Iron Age univallate hillfort. It occupies an area of woodland at the end of a narrow ridge. It is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, meaning that it is a nationally important archaeological site or historic building, given protection against unauthorised change.The 3 hectares (7.4 acres) site lies in an area of woodland at the south eastern end of a narrow ridge with steep slopes around it. There is a 0.5 metres (1.6 ft) outer bank which is 8 metres (26 ft) long with a shallow 8 metres (26 ft) wide ditch. Some Roman silver coins were found at the site in the late 18th century.

Temple Cloud (grid reference ST621580) is a village in the Chew Valley in Somerset on the A37 road. It is in the civil parish of Temple Cloud with Cameley and in the council area of Bath and North East Somerset. It is 10 miles (16 km) from Bristol and 5 miles (8 km) from the town of Midsomer Norton. The villages of Cameley and Clutton are nearby. The Temple in the place name possibly relates to the Knights Templar who held the manors of Cameley and Cloud around 1200. Cloud is thought to come from the personal name Cloda. It has been suggested that Cloud derives from the Old English ‘clud’ meaning rocky outcrop (the neighbouring village Clutton has the same derivation). There were several coal mines in and around the village as a part of the Somerset coalfield, but these have all since closed.

Greyfield Wood is a woodland to the west of High Littleton, Somerset, England. It is around 16 km (9.9 mi) from Bath and 19 km (12 mi) from Bristol. It is a mixture of ancient woodland and new planting.

Cameley is a village in the civil parish of Temple Cloud with Cameley, within the Chew Valley in Somerset, and on the northern slopes of the Mendip Hills, in the Bath and North East Somerset Council area just off the A37 road. It is located 11 miles (18 km) from Bristol, Bath and Wells. The nearest town is Midsomer Norton, which is 6 miles (10 km) away. The parish has a population of 1,292 and includes the village of Temple Cloud.

Long Dole Wood and Meadows SSSI (grid reference ST610562) is a 9.8 hectares (24 acres) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) between the villages of Farrington Gurney and Hinton Blewitt in Bath and North East Somerset, notified in 1987. The majority of the SSSI is made up of the Hollow Marsh nature reserve run by the Somerset Wildlife Trust which covers 7.9 hectares (20 acres). The site was previously called Holly Marsh. The meadows are summer grazed, with a heath grass and sedge environment with orchids.The site is situated on the flood plain of a valley formed by a tributary of the Cam Brook and support two neutral grassland communities with a restricted British distribution. Two ancient woodland sites are also present with ash, oak, hazel, wych elm and other tree varieties which show evidence of coppicing. The ground flora includes Solomon's seal (Polygonatum multiflorum).When the site was recorded as an SSSI it supported a strong breeding population of the marsh fritillary (Eurodryas aurinia), however this declined in the late 20th century, and this species is no longer found at the site.
