Chollas View is an urban community in the southeastern section of the city of San Diego. It is bordered by Webster and California State Route 94 on the north, Mount Hope and Interstate 805 on the west, Emerald Hills and Euclid Avenue on the east, and Lincoln Park and the San Diego Trolley on the south. Major thoroughfares include Market Street and 47th Street.

Abraham Lincoln High School (also known as Lincoln High Educational Complex, Lincoln High School, or simply Lincoln), is an urban public high school in San Diego, California, United States. It is part of the San Diego Unified School District. It serves approximately 2100-2700 students in grades 9–12 in the K-12 education system. It is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Southeast San Diego, part of the Encanto neighborhoods. It was named after President Abraham Lincoln. Opened in 1949 and originally serving middle school students, Lincoln was converted into a high school in 1955. The original buildings were demolished and rebuilt during 2003–2007. The school has produced several nationally recognized popular sports figures. Lincoln High School is currently divided into four small academies. The centers' themes were the result of a 2005 parent survey. On Tuesday, February 10, 2009 a coalition of Lincoln High School along with Mission Bay High School, and several other schools including UC San Diego and San Diego State University sent hundreds of students, parents and teachers into the streets in support of banning weapons training in San Diego schools. The movement is reminiscent of the 1969/1970 Lincoln Walkouts which lasted for 10 days and resulted in the district's first Black principal.

It is bordered by Chollas View and the San Diego Trolley on the north, Mountain View and Interstate 805 on the west, Valencia Park and Euclid Avenue on the east, and National City, California on the south. Major thoroughfares include Imperial Avenue, Ocean View Boulevard, and Logan Avenue.

Euclid Avenue is a station on the Orange Line of the San Diego Trolley located in the Emerald Hills neighborhood of San Diego, California. The station serves both nearby residences and is also a park and ride facility.

Greenwood Memorial Park is a cemetery located on unincorporated land surrounded by the city of San Diego at 4300 Imperial Avenue in San Diego County, California. The cemetery is adjacent to Mount Hope Cemetery. Opened in 1907, Greenwood covers approximately 125 acres (0.51 km2) five miles east of Downtown San Diego. The cemetery is an example of a rural cemetery, incorporating architecture, art, and landscaping into its design. Greenwood and its accompanying mortuary are now part of NorthStar Memorial Group (NSMP).

Logan Heights is an urban neighborhood in central San Diego, California. It is bordered by Interstate 5 on the south and west, Interstate 15 on the east, and Imperial Avenue on the north. It is part of the Southeastern Planning Area.

Holy Cross Cemetery is a cemetery located in the Chollas View neighborhood of San Diego, California. Holy Cross was dedicated in 1919 for the exclusive use of Roman Catholics, with expansions in 1945 and 1956. The mausoleum, with its distinctive blue roof visible from California State Route 94, is a landmark of San Diego.

San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) is a public, noncredit educational institution in San Diego, California. It is part of the San Diego Community College District along with three two-year community colleges: San Diego City, San Diego Mesa and San Diego Miramar colleges. SDCCE is administered by the San Diego Community College District and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. SDCCE is the nation's largest separately-accredited noncredit continuing education institution. SDCCE offers noncredit career technical education; adult basic education and basic college preparation; life enrichment programs; general interest fee-based community education classes; and customized contract training classes designed for the business sector. Continuing Education serves approximately 40,000 students per year through its seven campuses: CE at Mesa College, CE at Miramar College, César E. Chávez, the Educational Cultural Complex (ECC), Mid-City, North City and West City; it also conducts programming at various other off-campus sites throughout San Diego. SDCCE is diverse: it is co-educational, multi-generational and multi-ethnic. It has a semester-based academic calendar with an added summer session as a regular part of its offerings.

Major thoroughfares include Imperial Avenue, Churchward Street, and Valencia Parkway.

It is bordered by Mount Hope and Greenwood Memorial Park on the north, Interstate 15 and the neighborhoods of Stockton and Logan Heights on the west, Interstate 805 and Lincoln Park on the east, and Southcrest and National City on the south. Major thoroughfares include Imperial Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard.

Mount Hope is an ethnically diverse, hilly urban neighborhood of the City of San Diego, California. Located in the southeastern portion of the city, Mount Hope is named for the large municipal Mount Hope Cemetery, which encompasses approximately 115 acres (0.47 km2) of the community. The neighborhood contains a mixture of residential, industrial, commercial, and cemetery uses.
