The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) was a non-profit American think tank whose goals were to develop and promote private alternatives to government regulation and control. Topics it addressed include reforms in health care, taxes, Social Security, welfare, education, and environmental regulation. The NCPA was founded in February 1983 and ceased operation in mid-2017, announcing it had faced three years of serious financial trouble. An NCPA website is being maintained by a former board member at NCPAThinkTank.org, where publications have been archived. Prestonwood Town Center was a two-level enclosed shopping mall located at the northeast corner of Belt Line Road and Montfort Drive in Dallas, Texas that opened in 1979 and was demolished in 2004. It was replaced by a 62-acre (250,000 m2) retail shopping center of the same name that opened in 2006. The center includes Barnes & Noble, DSW, Michaels, Office Depot, Petco, Ulta Beauty, and Walmart as well as various restaurants and services.

Addison Transit Center is a bus-only station located along Quorum Drive and Addison Road in Addison, Texas (USA). The station opened in 1999. This transit center will become a rail station on the Silver Line when that line is completed in 2023.The bus routes within the transit center serves Addison Circle Park as well as The Galleria of Dallas and Valley View Center.

Blueprints at Addison Circle is a steel sculpture located in Addison, Texas inside a 133-foot-diameter (41 m) roundabout. The sculpture consists of 25 poles and five art panels. The sculpture weighs 410,000 pounds (190,000 kg) and required 650 US gallons (2,500 l) of custom "Sharpie blue" paint. The sculpture is more than 4 stories high and 140 feet (43 m) across. It was designed by landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh and artist Mel Chin with the aid of LeMessurier Consultants, and was fabricated and erected by Big D Metalworks of Dallas. The poles weighing 9,000 pounds (4,100 kg) were made in Houston, Texas and the tapered cones at the top of the poles were made in New Jersey. The structure was dedicated on April 13, 2000. The design is said to resemble the branching pattern of a grove of oak trees. The five art panels were designed using actual blueprints from Addison's municipal buildings, parks, bridges, and water pumping facilities. Total cost for the sculpture was $2.1 million. The nighttime lighting was designed by Stephen Bernstein of Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design.

The Knoll Trail station is a future train station along the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Silver Line. The station will be located at 15450 Knoll Trail Drive in Dallas, Texas. The station will serve the Dallas North Tollway corridor and Prestonwood Town Center.

Addison is an incorporated town in Dallas County, Texas, in the United States. Addison is situated to the immediate north of the city of Dallas. The town's population was 13,056 at the 2010 census. Addison and Flower Mound were the only two Texas municipalities labeled "towns" with a population greater than 10,000 in the 2010 census; since then the municipalities of Prosper and Trophy Club, also identifying as towns, have also exceeded 10,000 in population estimates. Addison is best known within the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metroplex region for its abundance of restaurants and nightlife.

The Galleria Dallas is a shopping mall and mixed-use development located at the intersection of Interstate 635 and the Dallas North Tollway in the North Dallas neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, United States. It was originally developed by Hines Interests Limited Partnership in 1982. The mall was modeled after a similar Hines development, the Houston Galleria, which opened in 1970. Both malls have ice rinks and a glass vaulted ceiling that is modeled after the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, Italy. The mall features Banana Republic, The Western Galleria, Macy's, Pottery Barn, Nordstrom, American Girl, Gap, and Old Navy among its tenants. The cost of constructing Galleria Dallas was at least $400 million ($1.16 billion, adjusted) when opened in 1982, ranking it as one of the most expensive construction projects for 1982, following Walt Disney Epcot Center.There are over 200 stores and restaurants, including an ice rink and the Westin Galleria Hotel. The property is owned by an investment consortium advised by UBS Realty Investors LLC, a subsidiary of UBS AG of Zurich, Switzerland, and is managed by Trademark Property Co.

Greenhill School is a co-educational day school in Addison, Texas, United States. The school was founded in 1950 by Bernard Fulton. The 78-acre (320,000 m2) campus is located 12 miles (19 km) north of downtown Dallas, Texas and enrolls about 1,270 students from throughout the Dallas Metroplex. The school is the first co-educational, non-denominational pre-kindergarten through grade 12 school in Dallas and is a member of both the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC).

Alpha was an unincorporated freedmen's town in Dallas County, Texas, United States. Founded soon after the American Civil War, the town peaked in the 1890s then dwindled in population throughout the 20th century before being delisted as a community in 1987. The area is now an incorporated part of the city of Dallas.

The Japanese School of Dallas (ダラス補習授業校 Darasu Hoshū Jugyō Kō) is a part-time Japanese educational program for Japanese citizens and Japanese Americans located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The school office in Dallas, and it conducts its classes at Ted Polk Middle School in Carrollton. As of 2015 Munetake Yamamura (山村 宗武 Yamamura Munetake) is the principal.

Valley View Center was a shopping mall located at Interstate 635 and Preston Road in north Dallas, Texas, U.S. It is owned and managed by Dallas-based Beck Ventures. The anchor stores that were once JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and Dillard's are all vacant. Originally developed in 1973, the mall flourished and expanded during the 1980s, but began to encounter financial difficulties by the 1990s. Bloomingdale's closed its location in 1990, which triggered a court battle with the mall's then-owner, LaSalle Street Fund, when Montgomery Ward attempted to acquire the anchor space once occupied by Bloomingdale's, which resulted in the space remaining empty until JCPenney opened there in 1996. The site of the mall's original movie theater closed in 1991, stayed empty for over a decade, and was eventually renovated and replaced with studio spaces for radio stations KBFB and KZMJ. A new, larger AMC movie theater later opened in 2004. The addition of this new theater slowed, but did not halt, the mall's falling fortunes. Macy's (who acquired the department store Foley's in 2006) closed in March 2008; Dillard's closed their location in December 2008; and, JCPenney later closed its location in April 2013. All three respective anchor spaces remained vacant despite differing proposed plans for renovation.

Parish Episcopal School is a co-educational day school located on two campuses in Dallas, Texas, US. The college preparatory school enrolls students in grades Pre-K-12.In 2015–2016 school year, 1,130 students were enrolled, making Parish the 3rd largest private school in Dallas County.
