Bullgill is a hamlet in Cumbria, England.

Bullgill or Bull Gill was a railway station on the Maryport and Carlisle Railway (M&CR) serving Bullgill in Cumbria. The station was opened by the M&CR in 1840 and lay in the Parish of Oughterside and Allerby. It closed in 1960

Crosby Villa is a hamlet in the civil parish of Crosscanonby in Cumbria, United Kingdom. Historically, the name may have been spelled Crosby Villas.

Bridekirk is a village and civil parish in the Allerdale district in the county of Cumbria, England. It is around 3.2 kilometres (2 mi) north of the Derwent river and about the same distance from the nearest large town of Cockermouth just south of the river. Bridekirk is just outside the Lake District National Park (1 mile (1.6 km) by road) and is not far from the Maryport and Carlisle Railway.Bridekirk ecclesiastical parish had in 1811 a population of 1552 persons. It has since been altered in area by the formation of separate parishes: Great Broughton, in 1863, which included Ribton. Christ Church, Cockermouth, in 1865, was given part of the township of Papcastle. Broughton Moor parish in 1898 was formed with Little Broughton.In addition to the township of Bridekirk itself, Bridekirk ecclesiastical parish now only contains Papcastle, Dovenby, and Tallentire.The civil parish of Bridekirk comprises only Bridekirk, Tallentire and Dovenby villages.

Parsonby is a hamlet in the Allerdale district of the English county of Cumbria. It is located on the B5301 road, south of Aspatria.

Arkleby is a village in Cumbria, England. It is located about 1 mile south of Aspatria and 9 miles south-west of Wigton. Arkleby is part of the civil parish of Plumbland and is a short distance from the village of Parsonby and larger village of Plumbland. Arkleby Hall, a farmhouse, dates from 1725 and is a Grade II listed building. St Cuthbert's Church, the parish church of Plumbland, is located in between Arkleby and Parsonby. The church was built in 1871 by J.A. Cory, incorporating the fabric of an earlier 13th century church on the site; it is a Grade II listed building.

Tallentire is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Bridekirk, in the Allerdale borough of Cumbria, England. It is about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Cockermouth. The village is located just outside the Lake District National Park. In 1931 the parish had a population of 184.

Redmain is a small hamlet in the Isel Valley and parish of Blindcrake within the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. The hamlet lies on the south-facing slopes above the River Derwent, in an elevated position of 475 feet (145 m), giving panoramas across the Isel Valley and Lake District Fells. Nearby are the hamlets of Isel and Sunderland and the village of Blindcrake. The hamlet is just under four miles north-east of Cockermouth, off the old Roman road to Carlisle (A595). It is 12 miles from Keswick and, along the A66, it is 29 miles from the M6 motorway at Penrith.

In 1931 the parish had a population of 163.
