Wildenrath is a township within the municipality of Wegberg in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The town is situated on the Bundesstraße 221 between Wassenberg and Arsbeck on the edge of Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park and close to the border with the Netherlands. For 40 years, the town was the home of the British military airfield, RAF Wildenrath. After the airfield closed in 1992, it became the Test- and Validationcenter Wegberg-Wildenrath, a railway test centre operated by Siemens Mobility.

Motte Aldeberg is a motte in Germany. Often called only Alde Berg, it is located in the Helpensteiner Bachtal between the communities of Arsbeck and Rödgen in the town of Wegberg in the Heinsberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Royal Air Force Wildenrath, commonly known as RAF Wildenrath, was a Royal Air Force (RAF) military airbase near Wildenrath in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, that operated from 1952 to 1992. Wildenrath was the first of four 'clutch' stations built for the RAF in Germany during the early 1950s.

Vossem is a quarter of the German municipality of Gerderath inhabited on March 31, 2013 by 68 people. It belongs to the city of Erkelenz and is located in the district of Heinsberg. The city of Wassenberg is five kilometres distant in western direction. The former airfield of Wildenrath which was used by the Royal Air Force until 1992 is in vicinity of Vossem. Currently its facilities are a test and validation centre for the German company Siemens.

It is situated near the border with the Netherlands, on the river Rur, approx. 6 km north-east of Heinsberg and 15 km south-east of Roermond.

Vlodrop-station (Limburgish and town dialect: Vlórp-Statie) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located on the German border, about 5 km (3.1 mi) east of the village Vlodrop, in the municipality of Roerdalen. The hamlet is named after the railway station of Vlodrop, which was located on the Iron Rhine connection between Antwerp, Belgium, and locations in Germany. The location was chosen because the Belgian owners of the railway line could get free land there, and because of the proximity to the border meant that customs officers had extra powers. The station was bombed in 1944, and never rebuilt.

Kolleg St. Ludwig is a Maharishi European Research University (MERU) campus located in Vlodrop, The Netherlands. It was originally built in 1909, used as a Franciscan friary and boarding school and purchased by the Maharishi Foundation in 1984. The campus is near the villages of Vlodrop-station and Vlodrop in Limburg, the Netherlands, adjacent to the Dutch–German border and the defunct Iron Rhine railroad, and is surrounded by Meinweg National Park.
