Sulzbach is a river of Hesse, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Nidda, into which it flows in the western part of Frankfurt, close to its discharge into the Main. It flows through Bad Soden and Sulzbach.

The Nidda is a right tributary of the river Main in Hesse. It springs from the Vogelsberg on the Taufstein mountain range near the town of Schotten, flows through the Niddastausee dam, and the towns of Nidda, Niddatal, Karben, and Bad Vilbel. At Harheim it reaches the Frankfurt am Main city area and after 90 km enters the Main in Frankfurt's Höchst quarter. In the 1920s and 1960s, the flow of the Nidda was regulated to reduce the risk of floods. The original numerous meanders turned into bayous, while the riverbed was straightened and made deeper. Since 1993 the Nidda has been partially restored to its natural state and a bicycle path built along the river.

Eschborn (German pronunciation: [ˈɛʃbɔʁn] (listen)) is a town in the Main-Taunus district, Hesse, Germany. It is part of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main urban area and has a population of 21,488 (2018). Eschborn is home to numerous corporations due to its proximity to Frankfurt and relatively low business tax rate.

The Arboretum Main-Taunus (76 hectares) is an arboretum located southwest of Eschborn, Hesse, Germany. The Arboretum lies close to Frankfurt am Main.

The Carolingian Saint Justin's Church in Frankfurt-Höchst is the oldest building in Frankfurt/Main and one of the oldest churches still existing in Germany. It is dedicated to Saint Justin the Confessor. The Catholic basilica originates from around 830, and the late gothic chancel was built from 1441. The church stands at the east of the old part of the town Höchst, looking over the Main river. On the one hand, St. Justin's is important for its stonework (the Carolingian capitals and the late gothic north doorway), and on the other hand, it is important as being one of the few nearly completely surviving early medieval churches - which has been continuously used for around 1200 years.

Schwalbach is a river of Hesse, Germany. It is formed in Schwalbach am Taunus at the confluence of the rivers Sauerbornsbach and Waldbach. It is a left tributary of the Sulzbach, into which it flows near Sulzbach.

The Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium (abbreviation: FDG; English: Frederick Dessauer Gymnasium) is a sixth form Gymnasium in the district Höchst of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The eponym is Friedrich Dessauer (1881–1963). The school has approximately 101 (year 2004) teachers and 853 (year 2009) students. Famous persons connected to the school are Michael Gahler (born 1960), a German politician and Member of the European Parliament for Hesse. In 2007 the old building was torn down and rebuilt in 2009.

Höchst (German pronunciation: [ˈhøːkst] or [ˈhøːçst]) is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk West. Höchst am Main became part of Frankfurt am Main in 1928 together with its boroughs Sindlingen, Unterliederbach and Zeilsheim. It is situated 10 km west of downtown Frankfurt on the north bank of the Main river at the Nidda River estuary. The well-preserved old city has been under the Denkmalschutz protection law since 1972. An important cultural event is the folklore festival, the Höchster Schloßfest, that brings many visitors to Höchst. It begins in the middle of June and last four weeks. It includes a festival in the old city, fireworks, and a jazz festival in the castle. In Höchst there is the Friedrich-Dessauer-Gymnasium, a sixth form Gymnasium.
