Alling & Cory Buffalo Warehouse is a historic warehouse building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It consists of a six-story, "L" shaped, 120,000-square-foot (11,000 m2) former paper warehouse building built in 1910-1911 for the Alling & Cory company of Rochester, with a one-story, brick loading dock addition built in 1926. It is built of reinforced concrete with classical detailing and considered to be of the "Daylight Factory" design. The building has been rehabilitated into an apartment complex.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

E.M. Hager & Sons Company Building is a historic planing mill located in downtown Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The main section was built in 1878 and is a three-story brick building. Two-story additions were made to the main block about 1880, and a three-story wing about 1920. It features brick corbelling and segmental arched openings. E.M. Hager & Sons Company remained in operation until the 1980s, after which the building was converted to a restaurant (the Spaghetti Warehouse) and night club.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Macedonia Baptist Church, more commonly known as Michigan Street Baptist Church, is a historic African American Baptist church located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a brick church constructed in 1845. Samuel H. Davis was the congregation's fifth pastor, helped raise money for a church building, and as a masom did much of the construction himself. He gave the welcoming address at the 1843 National Convention of Colored Citizens of America. Rev. J. Edward Nash (1868–1957) served the congregation from 1892 to 1953. His home, the Rev. J. Edward Nash, Sr. House, is located nearby. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Rev. J. Edward Nash Sr. House is a historic home located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. The house was constructed in 1892 and is in the Queen Anne style. It was home to Rev. J. Edward Nash Sr. (1868–1957), a prominent leader in Buffalo's African American community. He served as pastor at the Michigan Avenue Baptist Church from 1892 to 1953. Rev. Nash purchased the frame, two flat home in 1925 and his wife remained in the home until 1987. The house underwent exterior restoration in 2002-2003 and has been designated the Nash House Museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Burt Flickinger Center is a multipurpose indoor venue located in downtown Buffalo, New York.The venue is named after Burt Prentice Flickinger, Jr., an heir to the S.M. Flickinger food distribution company who spearheaded efforts to bring the 1993 World University Games to Buffalo.The venue was originally constructed for the 1993 World University Games and is now used full-time by the Erie Kats, SUNY Erie's athletic program. The facility contains a field house that seats 3,200 and an Olympic-sized swimming pool that seats 1,500.The venue hosted several professional wrestling shows from the ECW promotion between 1997 and 2000, including November to Remember 1999. Joe Mesi defeated Anthony Green to win the New York State Heavyweight Championship during a professional boxing card at the venue in 1999.The venue was formerly home to the Buffalo Rapids of the American Basketball Association in 2005 and the Buffalo 716ers of the American Basketball Association in 2015. The venue has been the home of Canisius Golden Griffins swimming and diving meets since 2011.

Sibley and Holmwood Candy Factory and Witkop and Holmes Headquarters, also known as the Weed & Company Building, are two connected historic commercial buildings located in downtown Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The Sibley & Holmwood Candy Factory (149 Swan Street) was built in 1896 and is a five-story, nine-bay-wide brick commercial block with late-Gothic detailing. It features Gothic window arches, decorative cast-iron columns on the storefront, and corbelled cornice. The Witkop & Holmes Headquarters (145 Swan Street) was designed by the architectural firm Bethune, Bethune & Fuchs and built in 1901. It is a four-story, three-bay-wide brick commercial block. Both buildings have flat roofs. The building has been renovated to house loft apartments. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Buffalo Metropolitan Transportation Center is located on the southeast corner of North Division and Ellicott Streets in Downtown Buffalo, New York. The transportation center is open 24 hours daily. Managed by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), which also uses the transit center as its headquarters, it operates as a major transportation hub for a number of NFTA Metro bus routes, as well as inter-city bus services. Its location is also of importance in that this terminal normally is the first or last stop in the United States on the busy Toronto-New York City bus corridor in the United States (the exceptions being a re-routed Buffalo to Toronto runs serving Buffalo Niagara International Airport on the way to the Rainbow Bridge, where it crosses into Ontario). The closest two Canadian bus stations (though not served by all trips) are Fort Erie (located at a Robomart gas station at 22 Princess Street, at Waterloo Street) or the more frequently served Niagara Falls Transit Terminal at Bridge and Erie Streets in downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario. Built in 1977, the architectural firm of CannonDesign created a terminal that is a "pleasant and even exciting space to experience, with views of travelers, buses and the city beyond afforded by comparatively large areas of glazing". It replaced an older Greyhound Station, located at 672 Main Street, near Tupper. After the Main Street station had closed, it became a police station for the Buffalo Theater District, and is currently used partially as the Alleyway Theatre

Colored Musicians Club is a historic jazz club located Buffalo, New York. Opened in 1935, it is home to the oldest continuously operating African American musicians' organization in the United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. As of 2021, the Colored Musicians Club is undergoing a massive reconstruction and renovation including expansion of the upstairs performance venue and installation of an elevator. There is a planned reopening Spring of 2022.

Hotel Lafayette, also known as the Lafayette Hotel, is a historic hotel building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York.

Broadway Auditorium is a former multipurpose arena in Buffalo, New York. It was part of a complex that first opened as Broadway Arsenal in 1858 to accommodate the 65th and 74th Regiments of the New York National Guard. The facility was expanded in 1884 with the addition of a drill hall and administration building to become the Sixty-Fifth Regiment Armory. The armory was decommissioned in 1907, and the City of Buffalo opened the vacant drill hall as Broadway Auditorium in 1913. Broadway Auditorium was home to the Buffalo Majors (AHA), Buffalo Bowmans (IPLL), Canisius Golden Griffins (NCAA) and Buffalo Bisons (NBL). It hosted notable events including the Six Days of Buffalo (1910–1940), NBA Tournament (1911), ABC National Tournament (1914, 1921, 1925 and 1931), NYSPHSAA Basketball Championship (1927), and the World Championship Series (1931–1939). Jimmy Slattery fought at the venue 73 times in his Hall of Fame boxing career, highlighted by his 1930 win over Lou Scozza to become NYSAC Light Heavyweight Champion. After closing in 1940, the building was used as barracks for the 712th Military Police Battalion during World War II. It has served as the Broadway Garage public works storage facility for the City of Buffalo since 1948. The former auditorium is recognized as the world's oldest surviving structure that has hosted professional ice hockey, and has been targeted for historic preservation.

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library is located on Lafayette Square, Buffalo, New York. The current facility, designed by Kideney Architects and built in 1964, replaced the original Cyrus Eidlitz Buffalo Public Library Building dedicated in February 1887. The first Buffalo Public Library, in turn, replaced the Erie County, New York courthouse, which occupied the parcel from 1816-1876.Founded ca. 1835 as the Young Men's Association (not to be confused with YMCA), prominent members included Samuel Langhorne Clemens, who was the editor of the Buffalo Express from 1869-1871. The Young Men's Association was a private subscription library, meaning that paid membership was required in order to borrow books. In 1883, the Association began a fund-raising campaign for a new building and held an architectural competition, which culminated in Eidlitz's 1887 design. Upon completion, the Association turned over its collections to the citizens of Buffalo and the Buffalo Public Library was born, with no requirement for dues or membership.Significant library collections include the original, hand-written manuscript of Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which Twain donated to the library in 1885; and the Milestones of Science, a collection of first editions announcing major advancements in Western science.

The Old Post Office, also known as U.S. Post Office, is a historic post office building located at 121 Ellicott Street in Buffalo in Erie County, New York.
