Pomezí nad Ohří

The Röslau or Rösla (Czech: Reslava) is a right-hand tributary of the river Ohře in northeast Bavaria in Germany. It is formed from several small tributaries that come together on the eastern slope of the Schneeberg west of the Vordorf Mill (Vordorfermühle) at Trostau in the Russel forest division.

Though best known for its ceramic production, Hohenberg has also produced some of Bavaria's elite soccer talent. Mauricio Göhlert played for the youth teams of SpVgg SV Weiden and Borussia Mönchengladbach before signing with SV Mitterteich in 2013.

Waldsassen Abbey (German: Abtei Waldsassen) is a Cistercian nunnery, formerly a Cistercian monastery, located on the River Wondreb at Waldsassen near Tirschenreuth, Oberpfalz, in Bavaria, Germany, close to the border with the Czech Republic. In the Holy Roman Empire it was an Imperial Abbey.

The Waldsassen Basilica, Mariä Himmelfahrt und St. Johannes Evangelist (Assumption of Mary and St. John the Evangelist) is the parish church in Waldsassen, Bavaria. It was built in its present form from 1685 to 1704 as part of the Waldsassen Abbey. With the secularization in 1803, the Cistercian abbey church became the Catholic parish church. In 1969, Pope Paul VI made it a papal basilica minor. The basilica is known for its display of jewelled skeletons.

Konnersreuth is a municipality in the district of Tirschenreuth in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated in the northeast foothills of the Steinwald mountains between the Fichtel Mountains and the Upper Palatinate Forest, close to the Czech border. The village is best known as the home of the 20th-century Catholic stigmatist Therese Neumann.
