Schirnding is a municipality in the district of Wunsiedel in Bavaria in Germany. Schirnding station is a border station on the Nuremberg–Cheb railway. Musicologist Reinhard Schulz (1950–2009) was born in the place.

Schirnding station is a railway station in the municipality of Schirnding, located in the Wunsiedel district in Bavaria, Germany.

Hohenberg an der Eger

Hohenberg an der Eger is a town in the district of Wunsiedel, in Upper Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the river Eger, on the border with the Czech Republic, 11 km west of Cheb, and 14 km northeast of Marktredwitz. It was home to Hutschenreuther ceramic. Though best known for its ceramic production, Hohenberg has also produced some of Bavaria's elite soccer talent. Mauricio Göhlert played for the youth teams of SpVgg SV Weiden and Borussia Mönchengladbach before signing with SV Mitterteich in 2013.

Kohlberg (Fichtel Mountains)

The Kohlberg is a forested mountain made of quartz phyllite in northeast Bavaria, south of Arzberg (Upper Franconia). Its summit is 632 m above sea level (NN) high and it is one of the highest mountains in the Fichtel Mountains.
