Kobuchi Station (Kanagawa)

Sagami Women's University (相模女子大学, Sagami joshi daigaku) is a private women's college in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.The predecessor of the school was founded in 1900 in Hongō, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, and was the fourth oldest women's college in Japan. It moved to its present location in Sagamihara in 1946 and was chartered as a university in 1949.

Sagamihara Campus is a facility of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Minami-ku was created on April 1, 2010, when Sagamihara became a city designated by government ordinance (a "designated city"). As of March 2010, Minami-ku had a population of 272,794, with a land area of 38.2 square kilometers.

Its name is derived from that of pastor and philanthropist J. F. Oberlin, and the name also shows the university's historical ties with Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, which the university's founder attended.

Izumi Junior College (和泉短期大学, Izumi tanki daigaku) is a Christian-affiliated private junior college in Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan. Founded as a school for kindergarten teachers in 1960, it was located in Setagaya, Tokyo. It changed its name to Izumi Junior College in 1965. In 1974, it relocated to its present location in Sagamihara. Formerly a women's junior college, in 2001, it became coeducational.
