Finnieston distillery

Exhibition Centre railway station, previously called Finnieston (1979–1986) and Stobcross (1894–1959) due to its location in the Stobcross area of the city, is a railway station in Glasgow on the Argyle Line. It serves the OVO Hydro, the SEC Centre and the SEC Armadillo which are accessible by adjoining footbridge from an island platform. The station suffers badly from congestion at concerts as most of Greater Glasgow can be reached from the station. There is a siding adjacent to Platform 2, that can be used as a turnback siding for trains terminating at Anderston or Glasgow Central Low Level. The line is served by Class 318s and Class 320s. Ticket gates are in operation.

Finnieston railway station was located in Glasgow, Scotland and served the Finnieston area of that city. On the Glasgow City and District Railway it was located on the modern North Clyde line close to where it emerges from west end of Finnieston Tunnel from Charing Cross near Argyle Street and Finnieston Street. In June 2018, it was revealed that the local community council was considering reopening the station. In September 2021, when asked by Labour MSP Paul Sweeney, Transport Minister Graeme Dey said the reopening was considered within the Strategic Transport Projects Review 2 but no commitment for reopening had been made yet.

Glasgow Gaelic School (Scottish Gaelic: Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu) is a primary and secondary school in Glasgow, Scotland which teaches through the medium of Scottish Gaelic. This teaching method is commonly known as Gaelic medium education. The secondary school catchment area serves the whole of Glasgow and the primary school catchment is in the west of the city. GME primary provision is offered at Bun-Sgoil Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu, Glendale Gaelic Primary and Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Bhaile a’ Ghobhainn (Govan Gaelic Primary School).

The Tron Church at Kelvingrove is a 19th-century church located in the Kelvingrove neighbourhood in the West End of Glasgow, and formerly known as Henry Wood Hall when it was the home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra from 1979-2012. Originally the home of a Congregational church, the building is now used by an evangelical Presbyterian fellowship.

The Glasgow Harbour Tunnel Rotundas are two red brick stone rotundas which flank the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland. The North Rotunda is located on Tunnel Street in the Finnieston area of Glasgow with the South Rotunda at Plantation Place in Govan.

The OVO Hydro is a multi-purpose indoor arena located within the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, Scotland.The arena was initially named The Hydro after its main sponsor Scottish Hydro Electric. The arena was known as The SSE Hydro until October 2021, when it was announced that the name was to change to "OVO Hydro", after its new sponsor OVO Energy, with a focus on making the venue more sustainable. The arena was officially opened on 30 September 2013, with a concert by Rod Stewart.The OVO Hydro arena is located adjacent to the SEC Centre and the SEC Armadillo and hosts international musical stars, global entertainment and sporting events; with a maximum capacity of 14,300 and aims to attract one million visitors each year. The arena was the largest entertainment venue in Scotland, before the opening of Aberdeen's P&J Live in 2019, and the fifth largest in the UK.

Kelvingrove is a neighbourhood in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. It is situated north of the River Clyde in the West End of the city, and directly borders Kelvingrove Park to the north and the grounds of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum to the west. Its other boundaries are not precisely defined, but roughly correspond to Sauchiehall Street to the south opposite the Sandyford neighbourhood, and the Charing Cross area to the east.

Sandyford is an area of Glasgow, Scotland. It is north of the River Clyde and forms part of the western periphery of the city centre. Formerly the name of a ward under Glasgow Town Council in the first part of the 20th century, it is within a continuous area of fairly dense urban development bordering several other neighbourhoods whose mutual boundaries have blurred over time, and is possibly less well known than all of the places which adjoin it, particularly Anderston and Finnieston.

The Pyramid at Anderston is a community-owned centre for the people of Anderston in Glasgow, which uses the building of the former Anderston Kelvingrove Parish Church.

Ca Va Studios or Ca Va Sound is a professional recording studio based in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. CaVa has previously had bases both in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The studios began in 1974 started by founder Brian Young and his team. Since then have recorded some of the biggest names in both UK and international music scenes including Westlife, Belle & Sebastian, Paolo Nutini, Robbie Williams and Take That, The Script, Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, Avril Lavigne, The Black Eyed Peas, Texas, Jessie J, The Proclaimers, Rage Against the Machine, Travis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Byrne, Mogwai, Eddi Reader and The Fall, amongst others. The studio hosts a Neve VR Legend mixing console and is the only studio in Scotland to have PrismSound audio converters. Ca Va Sound also owns Scotland's only professional independent mobile studio which hosts an SSL4000E 48 track console and Pro Tools. The studio takes its name from the former band of founder, Brian Young, "Ca Va". Brian was also a lecturer at Perth College of Further Education in Scotland for many years, and a Board of Management member at Stow College, Glasgow. A large recording studio with the Neve console, a smaller broadcast ISDN studio and the Ca Va Soundmobile.

The Finnieston Crane or Stobcross Crane is a disused giant cantilever crane in the centre of Glasgow, Scotland. It is no longer operational, but is retained as a symbol of the city's engineering heritage. The crane was used for loading cargo, in particular steam locomotives, onto ships to be exported around the world. It is one of four such cranes on the River Clyde, a fifth one having been demolished in 2007, and one of only eleven giant cantilever cranes remaining worldwide.
