Ushihama Station

Fussa (福生市, Fussa-shi) is a city located in the western portion of Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 April 2021, the city had an estimated population of 56,786, and a population density of 5600 persons per km². The total area of the city is 10.16 square kilometres (3.92 sq mi). About one third of the city area is occupied by the United States Air Force Yokota Air Base, giving the city an effective population density of 8,782 persons per km2.

It occupies portions of Akishima, Fussa, Hamura, Mizuho, Musashimurayama, and Tachikawa.The base houses 14,000 personnel. It occupies a total area of 7.07 km2 (2.73 sq mi) and has a 3,353 m × 61 m (11,001 ft × 200 ft) runway. It features the JASDF Air Defense Command Headquarters (ADC headquarters) since 26 March 2012. The headquarters of United States Forces Japan is also located there. Other base facilities are the broadcast center for the American Forces Network Tokyo radio service and a detachment of Pacific Air Forces' Band of the Pacific.

The Aki River (also, the Akikawa River) is a river in Japan. The Aki River flows west of Tokyo Metropolitan Area. It is a major tributary of the Tama River, The Japanese name, 秋川, means "Autumn River."The words Akigawa River sound a bit odd, as kawa and gawa, 川, are Japanese words for river, so Aki River makes more sense, or simply Akigawa, perhaps Akikawa.

Established in 1950, the park's central feature is Mount Taki, to the south of the confluence of the Tama and Aki (秋川) Rivers. The park is celebrated for its views over the Kantō Plain.
