The Monastery of the Immaculate Conception (Spanish: Monasterio de la Inmaculada Concepción) is a monastery of Dominican nuns located in the Spanish town of Loeches, in front of the Town square of the Duchess of Alba. It is also known as "The Big Convent (El Convento Grande)". It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1982.

Torres de la Alameda (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈtores ðe la alaˈmeða]) is a municipality of the Community of Madrid, Spain.

Campo Real is a town of around 6000 people in Spain, around 20 kilometers east of Madrid. It includes a notable church, the Iglesia de Santa Maria del Castillo. The town was first recorded as Aldea Campo, during the Moorish period it was known as Campo de Almoacid. It was given its current name ("royal field") by Philip II of Spain in 1580.

Avianca Flight 011, registration HK-2910X, was a Boeing 747-200M on an international scheduled passenger flight from Frankfurt to Bogotá via Paris, Madrid, and Caracas that crashed near Madrid on 27 November 1983. It took off from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris at 22:25 on 26 November 1983 for Madrid Barajas Airport; take-off was delayed waiting for additional passengers from a Lufthansa flight due to a cancellation of the Paris-Frankfurt-Paris segment by Avianca for operational reasons.During the instrument landing system (ILS) approach to runway 33, the 747 crashed on a hill approximately 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south east of the airport, killing 181 people, including 19 on-duty and four off-duty crew members. The 11 surviving passengers were seriously injured. The cause of the accident was judged to be pilot error, the captain having incorrectly determined the position of the plane. As of 2022, Avianca Flight 011 remains the second-deadliest aviation accident in Spanish territory (the deadliest being the Tenerife airport disaster), the deadliest accident in mainland Spain, and the deadliest accident in the history of Avianca.

Velilla de San Antonio is a town in Spain. It is located in the Madrid Metropolitan Area, in the Community of Madrid. It had a population of 12,770 in 2022.

Justo Gallego Martínez (20 September 1925 – 28 November 2021); also known by his honorific byname Don Justo, was a Spaniard who was known for constructing a church building in the dimensions of a cathedral on his own in the town of Mejorada del Campo since 1961. Most of the construction materials used were recycled or made from "junk". Don Justo dedicated the building to Our Lady of the Pillar (Spanish: Nuestra Señora del Pilar).

The Cathedral of Justo, sometimes also called a "cathedral of faith", is a religious building of grand proportions, much a like a cathedral, located in Mejorada del Campo on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain. It is named after Justo Gallego Martínez, who initiated the building and who worked on it almost singlehandedly until his death at the age of 96. The building was donated to the Catholic organisation Mensajeros de la Paz (Messengers of Peace) to complete its construction after his death. Although the building is called a "cathedral", it has no official recognition from the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Alcalá de Henares.

The Chapel of San Fausto (Spanish: Capilla de San Fausto) is a chapel located in Mejorada del Campo, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1986.Designed by Matías Román, it was constructed between 1687 and 1691.

Alcalá de Henares (Spanish pronunciation: [alkaˈla ðe eˈnaɾes] ) is a Spanish city in the Community of Madrid. Straddling the Henares River, it is located 31 kilometres (19 miles) to the northeast of the center of Madrid. As of 2018, it has a population of 193,751, making it the region's third-most populated municipality. Predated by earlier settlements (oppida) on the left bank of the Henares, the city has its origins in the Complutum settlement founded in Roman times on the right bank (north) of the river, that became a bishopric seat in the 5th century. One of the several Muslim citadels in the Middle Mark of al-Andalus (hence the name Alcalá, a derivative of the Arabic term for citadel) was established on the left bank, while, after the Christian conquest culminated c. 1118, the bulk of the urban nucleus returned to the right bank. For much of the late middle-ages and the early modern period before becoming part of the province of Madrid, Alcalá de Henares was a seigneurial estate of the archbishops of Toledo. Its historical centre is one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. The city has a long university tradition. Francisco Jiménez de Cisneros founded the Complutense University in Alcalá de Henares in the late 15th century. The city currently hosts the (refounded) University of Alcalá. It is the native city of Miguel de Cervantes.

The Church of San Juan Bautista (Spanish: Iglesia de San Juan Bautista) is a church located in Arganda del Rey, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1999.The church has a Latin cross plan with three naves. It has a lantern topped with a very harmonious and high-rise spire. The 60-meter-high bell tower erected between 1709 and 1714 is located on the west facade of the building. The tower is topped by a typically Madrid-style slate spire, with a ball, weathercock and cross, built in 1781. The Baroque altarpiece from the first third of the 17th century is remarkable.

Complutum was an ancient Roman city located in the present-day city of Alcalá de Henares, Spain. It has been partially excavated and the impressive remains can be seen today at the Complutum archaeological site south west of the current city, about a kilometre from the medieval centre.

Arganda del Rey [aɾˈɣanda ðel rej] is a station on Line 9 of the Madrid Metro, serving Arganda del Rey. It is located in fare Zone B3.
