Dong'an Road (simplified Chinese: 东安路; traditional Chinese: 東安路; pinyin: Dōng'ān Lù) is a station on the Shanghai Metro. The station serves lines 4 and 7. Service began on Line 4 at this station on 31 December 2005, while the interchange with Line 7 opened on 5 December 2009 with the initial section of that line from Shanghai University to Huamu Road.

Zhaojiabang Road (Chinese: 肇嘉浜路; pinyin: Zhàojiǎbāng Lù) is an interchange station between lines 7 and 9 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located near the junction of Zhaojiabang Road and Wulumuqi Road in Xuhui District. The station began operation on December 5, 2009.

Hengshan Road (Chinese: 衡山路; pinyin: Héngshān Lù), formerly Avenue Pétain, is a street in the former French Concession of Shanghai, China. A major thoroughfare that connected the heart of the French Concession with the Catholic district of Zikawei (Xujiahui), the boulevard was for much of the 20th century the centre of Shanghai's premier residential district. Since the 1990s, many of the mansions along the road have been converted into bars, night clubs, and restaurants. From 2016 onward, many of the bars on Hengshan Road have been closed down or moved away to other new and more popular entertainment districts in the city.

Hengshan Road (Chinese: 衡山路; pinyin: Héngshān Lù) is a station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Metro, located along Hengshan Road in Xuhui District. It opened on 10 April 1995 as part of the section between Jinjiang Park and Shanghai Railway Station.

Jiashan Road (Chinese: 嘉善路; pinyin: Jiāshàn Lù) is an interchange station between Lines 9 and 12 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located near the intersection of Zhaojiabang Road and Damuqiao Road. The station came into operation on December 31, 2009.

The Luwan Gymnasium is a basketball arena, in Luwan District, Shanghai, China. The arena is home to the Shanghai Sharks, a member of the Chinese Basketball Association. The facility seats 3,000 people.

Damuqiao Road (simplified Chinese: 大木桥路; traditional Chinese: 大木橋路; pinyin: Dàmùqiáo Lù) is an interchange station between Line 4 and Line 12 of the Shanghai Metro. This station was one of 16 that opened in the third section from (Qufu Road to Qixin Road) of Line 12 on 19 December 2015. Between 31 December 2005 and 29 December 2007, this station served as the western terminus of Line 4 before the remaining section of the loop between here and Lancun Road opened on 29 December 2007.

Middle Longhua Road (Chinese: 龙华中路), formerly Chuanchang Road, is an interchange station between Line 7 and Line 12 of the Shanghai Metro located in Xuhui District. During construction it was known as Pujiang Nanpu Station. It began operation on 5 December 2009 with the official name Chuanchang Road station. In December 2012, it was officially renamed Middle Longhua Road Station. Line 12 services started on 19 December 2015, at which point it became an interchange station.

The Ambassy Club was the first private club established in Shanghai since the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is located on Central Huaihai Road across from the United States Consulate, the Consulate of Iran, and near the Shanghai Library. Although it has many local members, the Ambassy Club has a large number of American and European members. The managers are required to know English.The club has several restaurants, each offering a different type of cuisine. There are two upscale restaurants. One offers Japanese cuisine prepared and served in traditional methods. The other offers gourmet Chinese cuisine. There is also a café-type restaurant, which serves American and European style food, as well as snacks, desserts, pastries, and coffee. The club also has a unique “piano” bar, which has an exclusive, jazz-club feel. There is live music nightly, plus a selection of some of the finest liquors and cigars available in China. The club has both an indoor and an outdoor pool. The outdoor pool has a unique waterslide, and a deck for sunbathing. A rock-climbing wall, basketball court, and children's’ playground are also located on the grounds. Located within The Ambassy Club is Ambassy Court, a condominium complex of three medium height buildings, and underground parking. Owners of condominiums also have membership at the club, and access to the club's “guest house,” where out of town guests can stay in hotel-like accommodations (complete with housekeeping) on the grounds of the club. The name Ambassy Club comes from an alternate spelling of Embassy, and refers to the proximity of the club to the U.S. and Iranian Consulates. The Chinese name for the club is Hong Yi. A new Ambassy Club, with similar offerings, opened in Beijing in the fall of 2006. The club's board members include the following: Vincent Lo, the Hong Kong business man who developed Xintiandi. Maurice Fung, a former Minnesota restaurant owner, who moved to China to become the general manager of Ambassy Club, Shanghai City Center, and a major property developer in Shanghai, Beijing, and various other upcoming cities throughout China. Peter Neumann, shareholder in the Shanghai office of Greenberg Traurig LLP. Stanley Ho, the 84th richest man in the world in 2006, according to Forbes, and owner of eight Macau casinos. Nora Sun, granddaughter of Sun Yat-sen, and noted Shanghai socialite. J. She was the "Chairlady" of Chinachem Group, and the richest woman in Asia, with an estimated net worth of almost $4 billion.

Shanghai No. 2 High School (simplified Chinese: 上海市第二中学; traditional Chinese: 上海市第二中學) is a key public high school located in Shanghai, China. With a history of 115 years, Shanghai No.2 High School currently has two major campuses with over 1440 students and 140 faculties. The school library has a collection of over one hundred thousand volumes.Founded in 1902 by Wu Xin as Wu Pen Girls' School (simplified Chinese: 务本女塾; traditional Chinese: 務本女塾), Shanghai No.2 High School was the first independent girls' school established by Chinese in the 20th century. In 1947, the academy was moved to 200 Yongkang Road (formerly 209 Route Remi), the original campus of Ecole Primaire Russe (俄國初級小學), later renamed Ecole Municipale Française-Ecole Rémy (法國雷米小學). In 1952, Wu Pen Girls' School was renamed Shanghai No. 2 Girls' High School. In September 1967, it was renamed Shanghai No. 2 High School, when it became a co-educational public school.

Metro-City (Chinese: 美罗城; pinyin: Měiluō Chéng) is a shopping mall in the Xujiahui area of Shanghai, China. It was built in 1989 and serves as one of the landmarks of the area, much because of the surrounding gigantic hemispherical structure that glows by evening. It is known for being the main electronics market in Shanghai, since most of its floors are occupied by sellers of computers, cameras, mobile phones, video-game consoles, etc. It also home to many restaurants and cafés while there is a cinema on the top floor.

Xujiahui Park is a park in Xuhui District, Shanghai. It was built in 1999, on the former grounds of the Great Chinese Rubber Works Factory and the EMI Recording Studio (now La Villa Rouge restaurant). The park has an artificial lake with a sky bridge running across the park.The layout of the paths, bridges and pond in the park roughly depict the layout of nearby Shanghai streets and the Pu river. In this way, the park is somewhat recursive as the paths at the south-west entrance of the park match the streets near the south-west entrance of the park.
