The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum (東京都庭園美術館, Tōkyō-to Teien Bijutsukan) is an art museum in Tokyo, Japan. The museum is located in Minato ward, just east of Meguro Station. The Art Deco building, completed in 1933, has interiors designed by Henri Rapin and features decorative glass work by René Lalique.

The Matsuoka Museum of Art is a private museum located in Shirokanedai, Minato, Tokyo, founded by Japanese developer Seijiro Matsuoka in November 1975.The museum took advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to close for renovations, reopening on 26 January, 2022 with an exhibition featuring many of the original pieces acquired by Matsuoka himself, and form the basis of the museum's collection.

Kamiōsaki (上大崎) is a district of Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan. The district is in the northern part of Shinagawa and borders Mita (Meguro-Mita) and Ebisuminami on the north, Shirokanedai on the east, Higashigotanda on the southeast, Nishigotanda on the southwest, and Meguro and Shimomeguro on the west. Kamiōsaki is home to Meguro Station; therefore, commercial areas around the station are often recognized as a part of the broader Meguro area. Otherwise, most of Kamiōsaki is a quiet upscale residential district, notably with its 2-chōme and 3-chōme called Chōjamaru (長者丸) and Hanabusayama (花房山), respectively.

Meguro Station (目黒駅, Meguro-eki) is a railway station in the Kamiōsaki district of Shinagawa, Tokyo, close to the boundary with Meguro ward.

The Institute of Medical Science (Tokyo-daigaku Ikagaku Kenkyujyo 東京大学医科学研究所) is an ancillary establishment of Tokyo University. It succeeded the Institute of Infectious Diseases (伝染病研究所, Densen-byo Kenkyu-jo) established in 1892 and is the foremost institute for medical and bioscience research in Japan. A research hospital is attached to the institute. The former Institute of Public Health was located on the site.

Shirokanedai (白金台) is a highly affluent district of Minato, Tokyo. The district today is made up of 5 chome. As of November 1, 2007, the population of Shirokanedai is 10,001. The former neighborhood of Shirokanedai (Shirokanedaimachi, 白金台町) consisted only of very narrow area along Meguro-dori (Tokyo Prefectural Route 312) and the former imperial estate called Shirokane Goryochi. It was merged with nearby neighborhoods after the promulgation of the current addressing system in 1969.

Shirokanedai Station (白金台駅, Shirokanedai-eki) is a subway station in Minato, Tokyo, operated jointly by the Tokyo subway operators Tokyo Metro and Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Toei).

The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum (東京都写真美術館, Tōkyō-to Shashin Bijutsukan) is an art museum concentrating on photography. As the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, it was founded by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and is in Meguro-ku, a short walk from Ebisu station in southwest Tokyo. The museum also has a movie theater. Until 2014, the museum nicknamed itself "Syabi" (pronounced shabi); since 2016, it has called itself "Top Museum".

The National Institute of Public Health of Japan (国立保健医療科学院, Kokuritsu Hoken-Iryō Kagakuin) is a government research and training organization charged with improving public health in Japan.

Kitasato University (北里大学, Kitasato Daigaku) is a private medical university headquartered in Shirokane, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The head of the university is on the Shirokane campus, neighboring the original Kitasato Institute, the first private medical research facility in Japan which was the starting point for the university in its present form. Kitasato University is ranked by Times Higher Education among the 350 best universities in Asia.

Little Texas (リトルテキサス, Ritoru Tekisasu) is a honky-tonk and Texan cuisine restaurant in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. Opened in 2005, it is owned and operated by Takeshi Yoshino and his wife Natsuko Grace Yoshino, after Takeshi heard Japanese country music artist Dave Kuboi he became fascinated with Westerns, Western wear, and the Western lifestyle. It is one of the main venues for country and Western music in Japan. The restaurant is decorated with memorabilia from the Southern and Southwestern United States. Its menu focuses on food inspired by Texas, and its neighboring states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, including steak, tacos, chicken-fried steak, jambalaya, Texas-shaped dessert waffles, along with related Japanese cuisine dishes like taco rice. But it also includes broader American cuisine influenced foods, hot dogs and spaghetti and meatballs. As a music venue for Japanese country and western musicians, it features a stage and dance floor. They also offer line dance lessons. In 2011 then Texas Governor Rick Perry named Takeshi and Natsuco Yoshino honorary Texans.

Sacred Heart School in Tokyo (聖心女子学院, Seishin Joshi Gakuin) is a private school for girls in Shirokane, Minato, Tokyo. Founded in 1908, it serves grades 1–12, from elementary school through senior high school. It is a part of the Sacred Heart Schools network, affiliated with the University of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo.
