Bu Kadra (Arabic: بو كدره) is a small, developing locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Bu Kadra is situated south of Dubai Creek, adjacent to Ras Al Khor Industrial Areas. The community is part of Dubai Municipality's expansion, south of the Creek. Historically, Bu Kadra was not a residential area, but housed various community and sports clubs. The Dubai government has undertaken to develop Bu Kadra into Meydan City, a horseracing real estate project.

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary (Arabic: رَأْس ٱلْخَوْر, romanized: Raʾs Al-Khawr) is a wetland reserve in Dubai, renowned for attracting large numbers of migratory birds. It is also home to a large population of crustaceans, small mammals, and fish.

Tashkeel is an art facility in the United Arab Emirates. Established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2008 by Lateefa bint Maktoum. Operating on an open membership model, Tashkeel's annual programme of training, residencies, workshops, talks, exhibitions, international collaborations and publications aims to further practitioner development, public engagement, lifelong learning and the creative and cultural industries.

Nad Al Sheba Racecourse was Thoroughbred horse racing facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates opened in 1986. It had a 2,200 m left-handed dirt race track and a left-handed turf course of the same distance. It operated from November through March and featured the Dubai International Racing Carnival and its Dubai World Cup Night. Nad Al Sheba Racecourse was demolished in 2009 following hosting the Dubai World Cup race, being replaced by Meydan Racecourse.

Ras Al Khor Industrial Area (Arabic: رَأْس الْـخـوْر الـصَّـنـاعـيّـة) is a locality in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Literally meaning Cape of the Creek, Ras Al Khor is part of several industrial areas (such as Al Aweer) located in the suburban areas of Dubai. The Ras Al Khor Industrial Area comprises three sub-localities: Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 1 Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 2 Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 3This area has automobile spare parts sales shops, Automobile service centers, Car wash/clinic, and vehicle repair. There are no more business or companies in the Ras Al Khor industrial Areas. All companies are related to the Auto mobile service/clinic/workshop/spare parts. This industrial area has a few warehouses.

Meydan Racecourse is a racecourse in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The grandstand is a half mile in length, and can accommodate over 60,000 spectators. Meydan opened on 27 March 2010, replacing Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, which formerly occupied the same site. It includes a horse racing museum, gallery and five-star hotel and nine-hole golf course. When not in use for racing it serves as a business and conference centre. The track's interior was also used as a filming location for the film Star Trek Beyond, depicting the docking bay where the USS Enterprise is moored, including the bar scene during the film's climax which contains a ship construction bay.

Nad Al Sheba (Arabic: ند الشبا) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Situated south of the Dubai Creek, Nad Al Sheba is best known for its racecourse, the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, which hosted the Dubai World Cup annually until 2009.

Rashid School For Boys (RSB) is located in the Nad Al Sheba community of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Al Markada (Arabic: المركاض), also spelled Al Marked or Al Markad or Al Merkad, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai in Bur Dubai, Al Markada is bordered to the north by Zabeel and Business Bay, to the south by Nad Al Sheba and Al Quoz and to the east by Bu Kadra. It is bounded to the north by route E 44 (Al Khail Road) and to the south by route D 69 (Muscat Road). Al Markada is primarily known for its camel race course and is not a residential community. The Nad Al Sheba Racecourse is located about 2.7 km southwest of Al Markada.

Dubai Creek Tower (Arabic: برج خور دبي) is a supported observation tower to be built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The preliminary cost of the tower is AED 3.67 billion (US$1 billion). It was expected to be completed in 2022 at the earliest, but the completion date is unknown since, as of now, the tower is on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The tower was initially known as The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour. The final height has not been disclosed, but project developer Emaar officially talks about a minimum height of at least 1,300 metres (4,300 ft), which will surpass the height of Burj Khalifa, Dubai's tallest skyscraper, and its arch-rival, the 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) Kingdom Tower in Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, it will become the tallest supported tower in the world.

Al Jaddaf (Arabic: الجداف), also spelled Al Jadaf, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai in Bur Dubai, Al Jaddaf is bordered to the north and east by the Dubai Creek, to the south by Zabeel, and to the west by Umm Hurair 2. Historically, Al Jaddaf, which literally means The Rower, was used as a dhow building area and is also the location of the Dubai Ship Docking Yard (Jadaf). Its shipyards are today are a site for the building and maintenance of these traditional boats, and Dubai Maritime City is also a site where dhow boats are repaired. Al Jaddaf also houses the sports grounds and facilities of Al Wasl FC and Dubai Officers Club. Another important landmark is Al Wasl hospital – now named as Latifa hospital.New developments in the area include Dubai Culture Village (aka Jaddaf Waterfront), a zoned community dedicated to visual, performing and literary arts, and the second phase of Dubai Healthcare City. This area is still developing into a hotel hub with up to five hotels at present in construction and three hotels built, namely Marriott Al Jadaf, Reflection Hotel Apartments and Arabian Park Hotel. The area is also being developed as a residential location, with more than three residential apartments.Al Jaddaf has two metro stations, Creek (near the Al Jaddaf Marine Station on Dubai Creek) and Al Jadaf station, both on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro, which is controlled by the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA). As of 2017, there is a large dhow being constructed in the area, intended to break the world record for size currently held by Kuwait.Also located on Dubai Creek is the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.

Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing, also known as Sixth Crossing, was reported in 2008 as a future bridge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If completed, it will become the world's longest arch bridge, with a main span 667 metres (2,188 ft) long. The bridge's overall length will be 1.6 kilometres (0.99 mi). The bridge will be 64 metres (210 ft) wide and will rise 15 metres (49 ft) above the water. The bridge, designed by FXFOWLE Architects, with lighting by AWA Lighting Designers, will cost AED 2.5 billion. It will be a part of a AED 3 billion roads project near The Lagoons. The bridge is expected to be complete in 2015.The bridge will link the localities of Al Jaddaf and Bur Dubai. It will have six lanes of traffic in each direction and will be able to carry 20,000 vehicles per hour. In the center will be a track for Dubai Metro's Green Line.
