Rowley Regis railway station serves the town of Blackheath and the Rowley Regis area of Sandwell, in the county of West Midlands, England. It is located on the Birmingham to Worcester via Kidderminster Line. The station is managed by West Midlands Railway, who provide the majority of train services; there are also occasional services provided by Chiltern Railways.

Leasowes High School is a coeducational secondary school located in Halesowen in the West Midlands of England.It regularly performs well in the Dudley Borough's GCSE league tables; and there is a high application rate amongst primary school leavers, meaning that some local children have to attend schools further afield, such as Earls High School and Windsor High School.

Oldbury Academy (formerly Oldbury College of Sport) is a mixed secondary school and former sixth form located in Oldbury, West Midlands, England. It opened as a merger of Warley High School (formerly Oldbury Tech) and Langley High School (formerly Oldbury Grammar) on 1 January 1999 The head teacher, John Martin, led the merger of the two schools from 1983 until 1999. Phil Shackleton took over as head teacher from then on.

The Leasowes is a 57-hectare (around 141 acre) estate in Halesowen, historically in the county of Shropshire, England, comprising house and gardens. The parkland is now listed Grade I on English Heritage's Register of Parks and Gardens and the home of the Halesowen Golf Club. The name means "rough pasture land".

Hill was a township in what is now the metropolitan county of West Midlands in England. The township was situated between Halesowen and Blackheath, and covered an area including Coombeswood, Mucklow Hill and the Halesowen Golf Club. It was originally associated with the Halesowen parish, a detached part of Shropshire, which was transferred to the jurisdiction of Worcestershire in 1844 by the Counties (Detached Parts) Act 1844. It became considered a separate civil parish in its own right in 1866. It became part of Stourbridge poor law union, and Stourbridge rural sanitary district (RSD). It 1894 it became part of the Halesowen Rural District formed from the Worcestershire parts of the Stourbridge RSD. In 1919 the parish was abolished to merge with Cakemore to form the parish of Hill and Cakemore. In 1925 the Halesowen rural district became the Halesowen urban district.

Lapal is a residential area of Halesowen in the West Midlands of England (part of Worcestershire until 1974). It is situated in the east of the town on the border with Birmingham. The Lapal area sits to the East of the Lapal Canal, to the North of Lapal Lane South up to what is now the M5 motorway, to the South West of Carters Lane and Kent Road, and to the South East of Mucklow Hill. Most of the houses were built between 1930 and 1980. In the late 1970s the large Abbeyfields estate was built alongside the currently disused portion of the Dudley Canal, adding to its already extensive owner-occupier housing stock. It is the most affluent suburb of Halesowen, commanding the largest average house prices of all the suburbs in the town. The area is served by Lapal Primary School and Leasowes High School, the Royal Oak public house and a small cluster of shops opposite, including a newsagent/post office, bakery, fish and chip shop, Chinese take-away, pharmacy and general grocery store. Also to be found in the area the ruins of the 13th century Halesowen Abbey, located in a field off the Manor Way by-pass. The area has local bus connections with Halesowen town centre, Stourbridge, Brierley Hill, Cradley Heath, Merry Hill, Birmingham and Oldbury. It is situated near to Junction 3 of the M5 motorway. The disused Lapal Canal Tunnel is nearby.

Warley is a residential area of Oldbury in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell in the West Midlands of the United Kingdom. Historically in both Worcestershire and Shropshire, the name has been used for both a civil parish (1884–1908) and a county borough (1966–1974). Warley has been the name of a UK Parliament constituency since 1997.

Brandhall is a suburb of Oldbury in the south of the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, West Midlands, bordering Birmingham and Halesowen. The development of the area commenced during the 1930s with the construction of several hundred private houses along the Hagley Road and Wolverhampton Road, as well as several side roads leading off the main dual carriageways. However, most of Brandhall was developed in the 1950s and 1960s, when several thousand council houses, flats and bungalows were built by Oldbury Council. Most of the high and medium-rise flats in Brandhall were demolished in the early 2000s and in their place housing associations built new low-rise homes. Brandhall is growing to be a more popular place due to the construction of new facilities, such as a local supermarket and a doctor's surgery. Brandhall (along with the rest of the Oldbury borough, and the neighbouring boroughs of Smethwick and Rowley Regis) became part of the County Borough of Warley in 1966, but this arrangement lasted just eight years until Warley merged with West Bromwich to form Sandwell Metropolitan Borough in 1974. Brandhall is home to secondary school, Perryfields Academy and two primary schools, Perryfields Primary School and Brandhall Primary School.

Langley Green is an area of Oldbury, on the B4169 road, in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, in the English county of West Midlands. The appropriate ward of Sandwell is simply called Langley. The population at the 2011 census was 12,969. Langley Green has a library, a theatre and a railway station called Langley Green railway station. The Oldbury Rep Theatre, which had its first production in 1944, moved to its current location in 1956. The theatre is Sandwell's only purpose-built theatre. It hosts a variety of productions and has established itself as a community theatre providing a venue for local organisations and schools. Before 1844, the locality was shared between the counties of Shropshire and Worcestershire in an extremely complicated manner. Langley Green is the birthplace of footballer Fred Wheldon who played for local clubs Rood End White Star and Langley Green Victoria in the mid-to-late 1880s before moving on to Small Heath in 1890, Aston Villa in 1896 and West Bromwich Albion in 1900. He was capped four times for England. In the summer months he played cricket for Worcestershire.
