Bongeunsa (Korean: 봉은사; Hanja: 奉恩寺) is a Buddhist temple located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 794 during the reign of King Wonseong by State Preceptor Yeonhoe (Korean: 연회; Hanja: 緣會), then the highest ranking monk of Silla. The temple was originally named Gyeonseongsa (Korean: 견성사; Hanja: 見性寺). It is located on the slope of Sudo Mountain, across the street from the COEX Mall.

The restaurant serves dishes from Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Its name takes one syllable each from "Korean", "Japanese", and "Chinese", and means "Koreans serving Japanese and Chinese food".

7th Door is a restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. It first opened in 2013, and received one Michelin star from 2021 through 2024. It was ranked 18th of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants in 2024. It serves contemporary dishes that often take inspiration from Korean cuisine. The restaurant's chef-owner is Kim Dae-chun. Kim previously operated the restaurant Toc Toc, which is in the same building. 7th Door reportedly creates 40 different ingredients and sauces from scratch. Such ingredients includes jang (fermented sauces), aekjeot (fish sauces), cheong (syrups), and pickled foods. The restaurant reprotedly has a passageway with seven symbolic doors. The first five symbolize the flavors of sweet, sour, salty, spicy, and bitter. The sixth door is fermentation or aging, and the seventh is a new experience of flavor. The restaurant is reportedly small and intimate, with a clear view of the kitchen.

Museum Kimchikan, formerly Kimchi Museum, is a museum dedicated to kimchi; one of the staples of Korean cuisine. Exhibits focus on the food's history, its many historical and regional varieties, and its importance to Korean culture and cuisine. The museum collects data and statistics on kimchi and regularly offers activities for visitors, such as demonstrations of the kimchi-making process, kimchi tastings, and cooking classes. The Kimchi Field Museum was Korea's first food museum. In 2015, it was selected by CNN as one of the world's best food museums.

The COEX Aquarium in Gangnam district, Seoul, is one of South Korea's Public Aquariums. The aquarium is housed within the COEX mall, which is, itself, part of the larger COEX Convention & Exhibition Center. The aquarium opened in 2000.

It was constructed for the 3rd Asia–Europe Meeting (ASEM 3) in 2000.The 836-meter (914-yard) section of sidewalk along Yeongdong Boulevard from exit No. 5 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, outside the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center and ASEM Tower, is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Starfield COEX Mall (formerly known as COEX Mall), containing COnvention centers, EXhibition halls and many malls, is an underground shopping mall in Gangnam-gu Seoul, South Korea. It has an area of about 154,000 square metres (1,660,000 sq ft), of which 144,000 square metres (1,550,000 sq ft) are on a single underground floor, making it the world's largest underground shopping mall. The mall is located at Samseong-dong served by Samseong Station on Seoul Metro Line 2, at the intersection of Teheranno and Yeongdong Dae-ro. The COEX Mall is adjacent to the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, which is part of the COEX complex, run by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). Along with hundreds of shops, the mall houses two food courts, MegaBox (cinema), COEX Aquarium and a large bookstore, but the Kimchi Fields Museum has moved to Insadong. It features a game area that is used to film computer game tournaments, which are broadcast on local television. There are stages inside and outside the mall for seasonal events and public appearances by celebrities. Millennium Square is the main exit of COEX Mall connecting with Line 2's Samseong Station. Coex is serviced by Samseong Station on line 2 and Bongeunsa Station on line 9 of the Seoul Subway.The 836-meter (914-yard) section of sidewalk along Yeongdong Boulevard from exit No. 5 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 to exit No. 7 of Bongeunsa Station on Seoul Subway Line 9, outside Convention & Exhibition Center and ASEM Tower is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
