The Bettinaschule (English: Bettina School) is a Gymnasium in Westend, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The eponym is Bettina von Arnim (1785–1859). The school has approximately 71 teachers and 1,028 students.

Trianon is a 45-story, 186 m (610 ft) skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany, completed in 1993. It is the headquarters for DekaBank; other tenants are Deutsche Bundesbank and Franklin Templeton. Atop the building is an inverted pyramid suspended from the three corners. The Trianon's layout is roughly the shape of an equilateral triangle, the corners of which are formed by three-sided towers. The end is an inverted three-sided pyramid on the roof. It is the first structure in Germany to use high-strength concrete.

The Deutsche Bank Twin Towers, also known as Deutsche Bank Headquarters (German: Zwillingstürme der Deutschen Bank or Hauptverwaltung Deutsche Bank AG), is a twin tower skyscraper complex in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. Both towers rise to 155 m (509 ft) and serve as headquarters for Deutsche Bank, the largest bank in Germany.

Rothschild Park (German: Rothschildpark) is a public park in Frankfurt, Germany. It is located within the central business district known as the Bankenviertel, to the north of the Opera Tower, adjacent to the Opera Square. The park is named for the Rothschild family, a banking family originating in Frankfurt. The history of the park dates back to 1810, when Amschel Mayer Rothschild bought a country house with a plot of land in the area. From 1830 the house was extended to a Palais, a stately home, by the Rothschild family. From 1832 the surrounding property was developed as a park in the style of an English landscape garden. The park and the palace were further extended by Baron Wilhelm Carl von Rothschild in 1869/1870. The Rothschild Palace was destroyed by the English during a raid in 1943. Since 1950 the property has been owned by the city of Frankfurt. The park is currently smaller than the original, as parts of it has been sold for property development.

Alte Oper is an underground station on line C of the Frankfurt U-Bahn in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. It is served by the U6 and U7, and is named after and serves the nearby Alte Oper concert hall. The station, designed by A.C. Walter, opened on 11 October 1986, and echoes the Alte Oper's Renaissance Revival architecture with its arched, column-free design.

Frankfurter Büro Center (German for Frankfurt Office Centre), also known as FBC, is a 40-storey, 142 m (466 ft) skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. It was designed by architect Richard Heil from Frankfurt. The building's anchor tenant is the international law firm Clifford Chance.

OpernTurm (Opera Tower) is a 43-storey 170 m (560 ft) skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. The property is situated opposite Alte Oper on the corner of Bockenheimer Landstraße and Bockenheimer Anlage. The building was designed by Christoph Mäckler. The project developer was Tishman Speyer, a US firm that previously built the Sony Center in Berlin and the Messeturm in Frankfurt.

The Wollheim Memorial is a Holocaust memorial site in Frankfurt am Main. It is named after Norbert Wollheim (1913-1998), a former member of the Board of Directors of the Central Council of Jews in Germany and forced labourer of IG Farben. Its purpose is to keep alive the memory of the victims at Buna/Monowitz and inform about their history and reparation.Heiner Blum designed the Wollheim-Memorial and opened it on 2 November 2008. It consists of a small pavilion at Grüneburgplatz, which is now named Norbert-Wollheim-Platz, and 13 plates showing portraits of former prisoners in Buna-Monowitz. These photographs show young people who would later become imprisoned in the concentration camp Buna/Monowitz, they illustrate Jewish everyday life before Holocaust and testify devastated lifeworlds on the former grounds of IG Farben, which is today home to the humanistic and cultural studies faculty of the Goethe University Frankfurt (Campus Westend). Above the entrance of the pavilion the prisoner number of Norbert Wollheim is installed. Inside the Wollheim quote "Wir sind gerettet, aber wir sind nicht befreit" ("We are saved but not liberated") of 26 August 1945 is placed on a wall inscription. Visitors are informed via two interactive screens by pictures, texts and documents about NS forced labour, the IG Farben lawsuits, the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp and about the reparation (among other the Bundesentschädigungsgesetz and the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future).In 24 video interviews survivors inform about their childhood, deportation, imprisonment and about their lives after the Holocaust. Norbert Wollheim also gets a chance to speak in an interview which was recorded in Washington D.C. in 1991.

Park Tower, formerly known as SGZ-Hochhaus, is a high-rise building in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. It was built in 1972 as the administrative headquarters of the Südwestdeutschen Genossenschafts-Zentralbank (since 2001 DZ Bank). The then 96-metre-high (315 ft) building with a black-and-silver facade was briefly the tallest skyscraper in Frankfurt. It is located in Reuterweg near the Opernplatz and stands slightly oblique to the old opera house. Between July 2005 and autumn 2007, the building was gutted completely and radically restructured. Following plans by the architects Albert Speer & Partner, it was increased by three levels and supplemented with a second block which lies down like a stone belt around the shaft of the tower. The new building is bright and dressed with natural stone, while the old building is completely glazed. The now 115-metre-high (377 ft) building offers approximately 24,000 square metres of gross floor area. The main tenant of the building is the internationally active law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, which has leased almost the entire building. The owner of the property is a property company of Dietz AG, Bensheim.

Inverted Collar and Tie is a sculpture designed in 1994 by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. It is located in Frankfurt's Westend in front of the Westend Tower. The DG Bank ordered the artwork in 1993. It was made in California. Inverted Collar and Tie shows a huge collar of a shirt and a necktie that are mounted top down on a pedestal. The necktie spreads its ends upwards as if it is fluttering lightly in the wind. The pedestal is painted in dark grey, the necktie is coloured in light grey with dark stripes. The artwork's measures are 11.9 x 8.5 x 3.9 metres, it weighs 7.5 metric tons. The sculpture is made from polymer concrete, steel and glass-reinforced plastic. The artwork is an ironic allusion to the business people wearing "collar and tie" who work in the DZ's office tower and in the Frankfurt banking district around.
