Theater Baden-Baden at Goetheplatz(Götheplatz in German) is the city theater of Baden-Baden in the Black Forest inBaden-Württemberg, Germany. At the instigation of Edouard Bénazet, a former casino director, the theater was modeled on the Paris Opera by Charles Couteau. Especially for the opening in August 1862 Hector Berlioz composed the opera Béatrice et Bénédict after Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. In 1869 Jacques Offenbach conducted the premiere of his operetta La princesse de Trébizonde. Since 1918 the theater has had an ensemble of permanently employed actors. Opera and other works of the musical theater are also performed as part of guest performances and co-productions. At the beginning of the 1990s the theater was completely renovated and equipped with modern technology. The theater is one of the venues of the New Pop Festival. The premises, especially the foyer, can be rented for weddings and other events.

The Kurhaus is a spa resort, casino, and conference complex in Baden-Baden, Germany in the outskirts of the Black Forest.

The Trinkhalle (pump house) in the Kurhaus spa complex in Baden-Baden, Germany was built 1839–42 by Heinrich Hübsch in a complementary architectural style as the spa's main building. The 90-metre arcade is lined with frescos and benches. The spa waters are said to have curative powers.

The New Castle (German: Neues Schloss) on the Florentinerberg in Baden-Baden was the seat of the Margraves of Baden from the late 15th century to the end of the 17th century and of the Margraves of Baden-Baden from 1535. As a castle complex from the Late Middle Ages, it has been rebuilt and extended several times. Today, the listed building is owned by Kuwaiti investors who wanted to convert the castle into a luxury hotel.

The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, located in the spa town of Baden-Baden, is Germany's largest opera and concert house, with a 2,500-seat capacity. The building was originally built in 1904 as Baden-Baden central railway station. This replaced the original railway station, constructed in 1845 as a part of a branch line connecting Baden-Baden station in the western outskirt with the city center. The building served as a railway station for several decades until the closure of the branch line, in 1977. The new construction was architecturally integrated with the former railway station and today encompasses the box office, the restaurant Aida, and a children's music space called Toccarion, sponsored by the Sigmund Kiener Foundation. Built by the Viennese architect Wilhelm Holzbauer, the concert hall opened on 18 April 1998. Following initial public startup funding, the Festspielhaus successfully converted to become the first privately financed European opera and concert company. Between 2003 and 2015, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden Cultural Foundation presented the annual Herbert von Karajan Music Prize.

Lichtenthal Abbey (German: Kloster Lichtenthal) is a Cistercian nunnery in Lichtenthal in the town of Baden-Baden, Germany.

The Battert is a hill, 567.9 m above sea level (NHN), on the western edge of the Northern Black Forest north of Baden-Baden in Germany. On its western slopes are the ruins of Hohenbaden Castle (the Altes Schloss or "Old Castle"), on the southern side is the climbing area and nature reserve called the Battert Rocks (Battertfelsen). On the hill ridge are the remains of a circular rampart, probably built by Celtic settlers. On the eastern side lies the village of Ebersteinburg. The Battert is a destination for ramblers and climbers all year round, heading for the 15–60-metre-high Battertfelsen. Above and below the rock face is a footpath around the rocks. The red rock face is visible from far off and may be easily reached on the road to the ruins of Hohenbaden or from a car park near Ebersteinburg.

The Merkur Funicular Railway (German: Merkurbergbahn) is a metre gauge funicular railway in the town of Baden-Baden in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The line ascends the town's Hausberg, the Merkur (668.3 m), atop which is the Merkur Tower.The line opened in 1913 and closed in 1967. It was reopened on 27 April 1979.
