Brook Street Halt railway station served the town of Rhosllanerchrugog, Denbighshire, Wales, from 1905 to 1915 on the Pontcysyllte branch.

Rhosllanerchrugog (; standardised and also spelled as Rhosllannerchrugog, [r̥ɔsˌɬanɛrχˈrɨːɡɔɡ] or simply Rhos) is a village and community in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It lies within the historic county of Denbighshire. The entire built-up area including Penycae, Ruabon and Cefn Mawr had a population of 25,362.

Rhos Aelwyd F.C. is a Welsh football club based in Ponciau. The club are currently members of the Ardal Leagues North East and play at Ponciau Park.

Rhos (GWR) railway station served the village of Rhosllanerchrugog, Denbighshire, Wales, from 1901 to 1963 on the Pontcysyllte branch.

Ponciau is a village within the community of Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It is close to the villages of Legacy, Pentre Bychan , and Johnstown and is overlooked by Ruabon Mountain. The village name is also applied to a larger electoral ward, whose population at the 2011 Census was 4,842.

Fennant Road Halt railway station served the Fennant Road area of Ponciau, a village that lies within the community of Rhosllanerchrugog. Opened in 1905 it had closed by 1915, partly as a result of WWI and also through road transport competition. On 1 August 1861 the GWR had opened a mineral branch from just north of Ruabon to serve the blast furnaces of the iron works at Aberderfyn and Ponciau. This line was extended to Legacy on 27 August 1876.

Opened in 1905 the halt had closed by 1915, partly as a result of WWI and also through road transport competition. Opened in 1905, it had closed by 1915, partly as a result of WWI and also due to road transport competition. On 1 August 1861, the Great Western Railway had opened a mineral branch from just north of Ruabon to serve the blast furnaces of the iron works at Aberderfyn and Ponciau. The line was extended to Legacy on 27 August 1876.

Stryt Las Park (Welsh: Parc Stryt Las; sometimes spelled Stryd Las) is a park situated between Johnstown and Rhosllanerchrugog, in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It is named after Stryt Las (lit. transl. Blue Street), the street which borders the park to its south. The park is situated on a former colliery and landfill site.

Penycae Football Club is a Welsh football club based in Pen-y-cae, Wrexham whose first team currently plays in the Ardal Leagues North East. Following on from the growth of the club over recent years, Penycae Football Club is now a registered business and will now operate as Penycae Football Club C.I.C (Community Interest Company) going forward. This ensures that the long-term future of the club is protected and everything that has been built since 1982 is secured for future generations. The club also has a team which acts as a pathway to the first team known as the Reserve team. The club run a number of youth teams for 10- to 15-year-olds, and mini teams for children under 10 years of age.

Llwyneinion () is a village in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It is part of the community of Esclusham. Its name can be translated from the Welsh language as "Einion's Grove", although until at least the 19th century the name was more commonly written as Llwynenion, "Enion's Grove". Llwyneinion has appeared in records since at least the 17th century and was once one of the properties owned by Elihu Yale, having been bought by his father. There is a long industrial heritage in the area, with coal mining, iron ore mining, and iron smelting present from the 18th century onwards. Several pits were opened in the 1750s by Isaac Wilkinson, who used the ore at his nearby works at Bersham. The pits at Llwyneinion became the main source of iron ore for local industries in the 18th century, and a furnace was constructed there by Thomas Jones in the early 19th century. Despite this industrial past, the immediate area is now largely rural in character. In 2011 Llwyneinion won a Silver Gilt award in the small villages category of the Wales in Bloom awards.Llwyneinion Woods is now a registered village green and forms part of Wrexham Council’s Open Spaces.
