Mainichi Broadcasting System, Inc. (株式会社毎日放送, Kabushiki-gaisha Mainichi Hōsō, Mainichi Broadcasting System Stock-Company), or MBS, is a radio and television broadcasting company headquartered in Osaka, Japan, affiliated with Japan Radio Network (JRN), National Radio Network (NRN), Japan News Network (JNN) and TBS Network, serving in the Kansai region. It is a parent company of a television station named MBS TV (MBSテレビ) and a radio station named MBS Radio (MBSラジオ). MBS is also one of the major stockholders of TBS Holdings, BS-TBS, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, i-Television, TV-U Fukushima, Hiroshima Home Television, WOWOW., and FM802.

Nakatsu Station (中津駅, nakatsu-eki) is a train station in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan on the Osaka Metro Midōsuji Line. While situated relatively close to the station of the same name operated by Hankyu Railway, there is no free transfer between the two stations.

HEP is a major shopping mall and entertainment center in the Umeda commercial district of Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan. It is a shopping mall consisting of a HEP Five and HEP Navio. HEP stands for "Hankyu Entertainment Park". The building is operated by Hankyu Hanshin Holdings's real estate investment trust (REIT) subsidiary Hankyu REIT and co-owned by Hankyu REIT (45%) and Hankyu Realty Co. (55%).

Nakatsu Station (中津駅, Nakatsu-eki) is a railway station in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan on the Hankyu Kobe Line and the Hankyu Takarazuka Line, and is operated by Hankyu Railway. While situated relatively close to the station of the same name on the Midosuji Line, there are no free transfers between the two stations. In past, there was a car stop on the Hanshin Railway Kita-Osaka Line in the west side of this station on the Hankyu Railway lines.

Ōsaka Station (大阪駅, Ōsaka-eki) is a major railway station in the Umeda district of Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). It forms as one of the city's main railway terminals to the north, the other being Shin-Ōsaka. Although it is officially served by only the JR Kobe/Kyoto Lines (Tōkaidō Main Line) and the Osaka Loop Line, Ōsaka is the starting point of JR Takarazuka Line service, and serves as the terminal for trains bound for the San'in region via JR Takarazuka Line and the Hokuriku region via JR Kyoto Line, while offering connections to trains bound for Nara, Wakayama and Kansai International Airport via the Osaka Loop Line. Umeda Station (Hankyu, Hanshin, and Osaka Metro Midosuji Line), Nishi-Umeda Station (Subway Yotsubashi Line) and Higashi-Umeda Station (Subway Tanimachi Line) are directly connected to Ōsaka Station, and Kitashinchi Station on the JR Tozai Line is within walking distance. Ōsaka Station and Umeda Station, effectively part of the same complex, together constitute the busiest station in Western Japan, serving 2,343,727 passengers daily in 2005, and the fourth-busiest railway station in the world.Ōsaka Station also houses a large terminal for overnight bus services to other cities in Japan, and until March 2013 also had a nearby freight terminal complex, Umeda Freight Terminal, owned by JR Freight.

Dōyamachō (Japanese: 堂山町) is a district in the Umeda area of Osaka, Japan. It is close to the JR Osaka and Umeda Station, many restaurants, bars, izakaya, karaoke, massage parlors, host clubs, hotels, and shops concentrate in the area. Many salarymen, OL (office ladies) and students stop by Dōyamachō to have fun in the evening before they go back home. It is one of the largest entertainment districts in Japan. Dōyamachō has attracted a gay scene at a smaller scale than Shinjuku ni-chōme in Tokyo.

Higashi-Umeda Station (東梅田駅, Higashi-Umeda-eki, T20) is a railway station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line in Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan. The station is located along Whity Umeda.

Grand Green Osaka (グラングリーン大阪) /Umekita Park is a 24-hectare (59-acre) civic project being developed in Osaka. Most of the park opened on September 6, 2024. The park is near Ōsaka Station, nicknamed Umekita. The Seattle firm GGN was responsible for landscape architecture.

Umeda (Japanese: 梅田) is a major commercial, business, shopping and entertainment district in Kita-ku, Osaka, Japan, and the city's main northern railway terminus (Ōsaka Station, Umeda Station). The district's name means "plum field".
