Saitama Women's Junior College (埼玉女子短期大学, Saitama joshi tanki daigaku) is a private women's junior college in Hidaka, Saitama, Japan, established in 1989.

Hidaka (日高市, Hidaka-shi) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 January 2021, the city had an estimated population of 55,294 in 24,328 households and a population density of 1200 persons per km². The total area of the city is 47.48 square kilometres (18.33 sq mi).

The 1957 Canada Cup took place 24–27 October on the East Course at the Kasumigaseki Country Club in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan. It was the fifth Canada Cup event, which became the World Cup in 1967. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 30 teams. These were the same 29 teams that had competed in 1956 with the addition of Thailand. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The Japanese team of Torakichi Nakamura and Koichi Ono won by nine strokes over the American team of Jimmy Demaret and Sam Snead. The individual competition was won by Torakichi Nakamura, seven shots ahead of Gary Player, Sam Snead and Dave Thomas.

Kasumigaseki Country Club (霞ヶ関カンツリー倶楽部) is a private golf course in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan. It opened on October 6, 1929, and was the first golf course in Saitama. It has hosted a number of professional and major amateur tournaments: Canada Cup – 1957 Japan Open – 1933, 1956, 1995, 2006 Japan Women's Open - 1999 Japan Amateur – 1965, 1977 Japan Women's Amateur – 1956, 1964, 1974 Asian Amateur Championship – 2010The East Course was the golf venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Nihon Institute of Medical Science (日本医療科学大学, Nihon iryō kagaku daigaku) is a private university in Moroyama, Saitama, Japan, established in 2007. The Nihon Institute of Medical Science was established in 1918 as Josai Business School. In 1984, it was reorganized into the Josai College of Medical Arts & Sciences., a vocational college, and took its present name in 2007. It is located next to Josai University in neighboring Sakado, Saitama. The school has a Department of Radiological Technology, Department of Nursing, Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Occupational Therapy and Department of Clinical Engineering.
