St Elvis, Pembrokeshire

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path (Welsh: Llwybr Arfordir Sir Benfro), often called the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, is a designated National Trail in Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales. Established in 1970, it is a 186-mile (299 km) long-distance walking route, mostly at cliff-top level, with a total of 35,000 feet (11,000 m) of ascent and descent. At its highest point – Pen yr afr, on Cemaes Head – it reaches a height of 574 feet (175 m), and at its lowest point – Sandy Haven crossing, near Milford Haven – it is just 6 feet (2 m) above low water. Whilst most of the coastline faces west, it offers – at varying points – coastal views in every direction of the compass. The southern end of the path is at Amroth, Pembrokeshire. The northern end is often regarded as being at Poppit Sands, near St. Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire, where the official plaque was originally sited but the path now continues to St. Dogmaels, where a new marker was unveiled in July 2009. Here the path links with the Ceredigion Coast Path, which continues northwards. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path forms part of the 870-mile (1,400 km) Wales Coast Path around the whole coast of Wales from Chepstow to Queensferry, which was officially opened in 2012.

The River Solva (Welsh: Afon Solfach) is a small river in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Its source is a few hundred metres southeast of Croesgoch and flows ten miles before reaching Solva Harbour and St Brides Bay. It passes through mainly agricultural grazing land before reaching the small settlement of Middle Mill and finally the village of Solva. The river is subject to frequent flood warnings and regularly bursts its banks, in particular flooding properties backing onto the river in Lower Solva.

The Solva limekilns are a row of disused limekilns in the harbour of the village of Solva, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The kilns have a Grade II heritage listing.

Middle Mill (Welsh: Felinganol) is a small settlement on the River Solva in the parish of Whitchurch, Pembrokeshire, Wales, approximately 1 mile upstream from the coastal village of Solva.

Solva (Welsh: Solfach) is a village, community and electoral ward in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The village comprises principally Lower Solva and Upper Solva. The community also includes Middle Mill and Whitchurch.

Solva Lifeboat Station was located at Trinity Quay in Upper Solva, a village on the north shore of the River Solva estuary, on the northern side of St Brides Bay, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) east of St David's, in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. A lifeboat was first stationed at Solva by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1869. The station was closed 18 years later, in 1887.

Solva Woollen Mill is a woollen mill in the village of Middle Mill, about one mile from Solva, Pembrokeshire, Wales, that has been in operation since 1907.

Whitchurch (Welsh: Tregroes, lit. "Town of the Cross") is a small village and parish (Plwy'r Groes, lit. "Parish of the Cross") in north-western Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Dwrhyd Pit is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (or SSSI) in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. It has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest since January 1957 in an attempt to protect its fragile geological elements. The site has an area of 0.18 hectares (0.44 acres) and is managed by Natural Resources Wales.

Treffynnon (Welsh: tref - town + ffynnon - spring, well) is a hamlet of about twenty houses located in the community of Brawdy, between St Davids and Fishguard, about a mile inland from the A487 at Croesgoch in Pembrokeshire. On the edge of the village stands Treffynnon Chapel, a Welsh Calvinistic Methodist foundation, originally built in 1867 and rebuilt in 1876. Treffynnon has only one named road with the unusual address of Council Houses, a row of six local authority dwellings dating from the 1960s known locally as The Street.
