Royal Air Force St Davids, or more simply RAF St Davids, is a former Royal Air Force station, near the city of St Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales, in the community of Solva. It opened in the late summer of 1943, for RAF Coastal Command. The station was put into a care and maintenance status in November 1945. However, the Royal Navy took over control from 1950 until 1961. The airfield was then used as a Relief Landing Ground, for No. 1 Tactical Weapons Unit's advanced jet trainers, while they operated from RAF Brawdy, between 1974 and 1992.

Whitchurch (Welsh: Tregroes, lit. "Town of the Cross") is a small village and parish (Plwy'r Groes, lit. "Parish of the Cross") in north-western Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Dwrhyd Pit is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (or SSSI) in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. It has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest since January 1957 in an attempt to protect its fragile geological elements. The site has an area of 0.18 hectares (0.44 acres) and is managed by Natural Resources Wales.

Solva Woollen Mill is a woollen mill in the village of Middle Mill, about one mile from Solva, Pembrokeshire, Wales, that has been in operation since 1907.

The Bug Farm or Dr Beynon's Bug Farm is a multipurpose farm and research centre near St Davids, in Pembrokeshire, Wales, run by Dr Sarah Beynon, an entomologist and farmer on her former family farm. The farm aims to look into nature recovery and sustainable farming practices, and in particular the use of bugs within agriculture including as a form of sustenance. The farm also has publicly accessible venues such as a museum, art gallery, garden, bug zoo, and the Grub Kitchen with chef Andy Holcroft which serves insect based dishes. These include recreations of popular dishes such as burgers as well as insects which remain in an identifiable state. Both Beynon and Holcroft featured in the 2017 BBC documentary "The Bug Grub Couple". Insects for consumption are sourced from Canada and the Netherlands which have legal guidelines for insect farming practices which the United Kingdom lacks. During 2025–26 the farm is running a National Lottery Heritage Fund Nature Networks Fund project to connect up wildlife habitats across the St Davids peninsula and reduce the impact of dog spot-ons and livestock wormers on local Pembrokeshire soils and waters.

It has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest since January 1954 in an attempt to protect its fragile biological elements. The site has an area of 0.18 hectares (0.44 acres) and is managed by The Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales.

Solva (Welsh: Solfach) is a village, community and electoral ward in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The village comprises principally Lower Solva and Upper Solva. The community also includes Middle Mill and Whitchurch.

Middle Mill (Welsh: Felinganol) is a small settlement on the River Solva in the parish of Whitchurch, Pembrokeshire, Wales, approximately 1 mile upstream from the coastal village of Solva.

Solva Lifeboat Station was located at Trinity Quay in Upper Solva, a village on the north shore of the River Solva estuary, on the northern side of St Brides Bay, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) east of St David's, in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. A lifeboat was first stationed at Solva by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1869. The station was closed 18 years later, in 1887.

The Solva limekilns are a row of disused limekilns in the harbour of the village of Solva, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The kilns have a Grade II heritage listing.

The River Solva (Welsh: Afon Solfach) is a small river in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Its source is a few hundred metres southeast of Croesgoch and flows ten miles before reaching Solva Harbour and St Brides Bay. It passes through mainly agricultural grazing land before reaching the small settlement of Middle Mill and finally the village of Solva. The river is subject to frequent flood warnings and regularly bursts its banks, in particular flooding properties backing onto the river in Lower Solva.

Abereiddy (Welsh: Abereddi) is a hamlet in the county of Pembrokeshire, in west Wales. It has a small beach which was awarded the Blue flag rural beach award in 2005. A large car park adjoins the beach, where in the summer an ice cream van can usually be found. The beach also has public toilets which are open from Easter to October half-term. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path gives fine walking in both directions. The Common which runs inland behind the beach lies within the Manor of Llanrhian. It is home to the now famous Blue Lagoon, where the "Red Bull Diving" championships have been held. The Blue Lagoon was created when the wall of an old slate mine was blasted to let the sea in. It is also popular for "coasteering" where people dive into the sea, swim and clamber along the cliffs. Following the coast path north leads to Porthgain. Abereiddy to Porthgain is roughly a forty-minute walk. The coastal path taken in the other direction to the south east goes around St Davids Head and on to Whitesands Bay.
