Chazy River

Coopersville (formerly, Corbeau, Cooperville and Moore's Mills) is a hamlet in Clinton County, New York, United States. Coopersville lies at an elevation of 112 feet (34 m). Most of the first settlers of this area were refugees from Canada who either did not support the British during the American Revolution, or actually took up arms against the British. Many of these had been soldiers in the French army from "The Old French War", (The French and Indian War).

It encompasses 13 contributing buildings, 3 contributing sites, and 1 contributing structure centered on Crown Point hamlet's green and the domestic, religious, commercial and civic properties adjacent to it. It developed between about 1800 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Federal, Greek Revival, Italianate, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable contributing resources include the Crown Point Green, Colonel Job Howe House (c. 1827), the First Congregational Church (c. 1834), the Charles F. Hammond House (c. 1837, Hammond Chapel), The Knapp Senior Center/Masonic Hall (c. 1826), and The Old Brick Store (1827). It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Alice T. Miner Museum, also known as Alice T. Miner Colonial Collection, is located at Chazy in Clinton County, New York on the Adirondack Coast. Opened in 1924, the museum was created by Alice T. Miner, a pioneer in the Colonial Revival movement and wife of William H. Miner, railroad industrialist. The museum has 15 rooms filled with period furniture, miniature furniture, a vast china collection, porcelain and glass, a superb collection of early samplers and other textiles, War of 1812 muskets, Revolutionary War cannonballs, dolls and other early Americana. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The William H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute is a private, not-for-profit educational research institution with an operational dairy farm and Morgan horse herd located in Chazy, New York on the Adirondack Coast of Lake Champlain. Miner Institute currently encompasses over 8,600 acres of forest and agricultural land in the Little Chazy and Great Chazy river watersheds. The Institute is funded through an endowment, research grants and the sale of milk from its dairy operation. Created in 1951, the Institute's mission is to offer quality research, education, and demonstration programs addressing critical agricultural and environmental issues relevant to Northern New York, Vermont and Quebec farmers.

The Rutland Railroad Pumping Station is a historic water pumping facility at 43 Lake Street in the town of Alburgh, Vermont. Built in 1903, it is a rare example in Vermont of an early railroad-related water pumping facility. In use until the 1940s, it provided water needed for steam engines at rail facilities elsewhere in Alburgh. It is now owned by the town, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
