Aberdeen Lifeboat Station is a Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) marine-rescue facility in Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom. Aberdeen was one of the first lifeboat stations to be established in Scotland, it was founded in 1802.The station is currently equipped with a Severn-class lifeboat, the Bon Accord and a D-class (IB1) inshore lifeboat, the James Bissett Simpson.

Aberdeen Waterloo station opened on 1 April 1856 to serve the Great North of Scotland Railway main line to Keith. It was located on Waterloo Quay in the city centre. It closed to passengers in 1867 once Aberdeen Joint opened, but the track remains in use as a freight siding for the docks. The goods sheds were demolished in the 1960s, while the main station was converted for use as a storage facility.

Queen Victoria Bridge, also known as Victoria Bridge, is a road bridge across the River Dee linking the main part of the City of Aberdeen with Torry and the southern areas of the city. It was opened in May 1881. Built by Aberdeen City Council and partly funded by public subscription, it was constructed partly in response to the River Dee ferryboat disaster of 5 April 1876.

The River Dee Ferry Boat Disaster occurred on 5 April 1876. Thirty two people drowned in the mouth of the River Dee, Aberdeenshire, Scotland when their ferry boat capsized. Overcrowding, fast flowing current and a poorly spliced wire rope were blamed.

Castlehill Barracks was a military installation in Aberdeen in Scotland.

St Peter's Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Aberdeen, Scotland. It was built from 1803 and opened in 1804. It is situated on Justice Street between Peacock's Close and Market Stance, next to St Andrew's Cathedral in the centre of the city. It was the first permanent Roman Catholic Church to be built in Aberdeen after the Reformation and is a category B listed building.

Torry Academy was a secondary school in Torry, Aberdeen, run by Aberdeen City Council. The original school was built in 1927 and added to in 1947, creating the granite part of the school building. The school was extended in the late 1970s on the site of The Moundie to create an additional 3-storey block. Torry Academy was closed on July 6, 2018, prior to the opening of the new £47 million Lochside Academy in Altens. It closed around the same time as Kincorth Academy. Both schools were replaced by Lochside Academy. After almost 3 years, demolition work began in April 2021, before being finished in September.

Aberdeen's Mercat Cross was built in 1686 by John Montgomery, an Aberdeen architect. It is in the Castlegate area in the old burgh of New Aberdeen. This open-arched structure, 21 ft (6 m) in diameter and 18 ft (5 m) high, is a large hexagonal base from the centre of which rises a shaft with a Corinthian capital, on which is the royal unicorn. The base is highly decorated, including medallions illustrating Scottish monarchs from James I to James VII and is supported by a series of open semi-circular arcades. According to local legend, the ghost of a unicorn can be seen to circle the Castlegate when a full moon is visible. During the Jacobite rising of 1715 James Stuart, the Old Pretender, was declared king at the cross.

Alexander Hall and Sons was a shipbuilder that operated in Aberdeen from 1797 to 1957. They designed the pointed and sharply raked Aberdeen bow" first used on the Scottish Maid and which became a characteristic of the "extreme clippers".

Aberdeen Science Centre is a science museum in Aberdeen, Scotland. It displays exhibits and performs fun, educational and interactive shows and workshops which are aimed to be inclusive for all audiences. It attracts primary school groups around the year and its exhibits are "hands on" so that everything can be played with and examined. The centre is a registered charity under Scottish law. It is funded by the public and donations from local corporate sponsors. The attraction also contains a café. It is located on Constitution Street. The building within which the attraction is located was once a depot for Aberdeen's tram network. It used to based on Justice Mill Lane. The centre was temporarily located at 107 George Street from 2018 to 2020 as it underwent a multimillion-pound renovation at its Constitution Street location. It was completed in Summer 2020.

Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village also known as The Health Village is a community hospital located in the centre of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is managed by NHS Grampian.
