The broadcast tower used by the station is located in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia at (40°02′19.7″N 75°14′12.8″W), while studios are in Bala Cynwyd. The station features popular Philadelphia radio personalities John DeBella and Andre Gardner.

WXPN produces World Cafe, a music program distributed by NPR to many non-commercial stations in the United States. The station's call sign, which is often abbreviated to XPN, stands for "Experimental Pennsylvania Network". Founded as W08CC in 1986 by Paul Engle, the station is one of the oldest low-power TV stations in New Jersey. For 25 years, it provided a mix of local interest and syndicated programs. After being sold in 2012, it has primarily carried Spanish-language broadcast networks, including MundoFox/MundoMax and Azteca América.

In addition to a standard analog transmission, WBEB broadcasts over two HD Radio channels, and is available online via Audacy. Prior to 2018, WBEB was co-founded and owned by broadcaster Jerry Lee, and was recognized as one of the last independently owned and operated major market FM stations remaining in the United States. WBEB has been a top-ranking station in the Philadelphia Nielsen Audio ratings since the early 1990s; this dominance has been further demonstrated during the holiday season, where WBEB has historically seen the largest ratings gains among U.S. radio stations that switch to Christmas music.

The station was owned by Local Media TV Philadelphia, LLC.WTSD-CD left the air in 2017 as a result of the incentive auction, in which it was paid more than $62 million to leave the air.

The station is owned by the Philadelphia Television Network since November 10, 1999. The station suspended analog operations on June 16, 2010.

WDUM-LD, virtual channel 41 (UHF digital channel 16), is a low-powered television station licensed to serve Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The station is owned by HC2 Holdings. In June 2013, the then-WNAI-LP was slated to be sold to Landover 5 as part of a larger deal involving 51 other low-power television stations. Mako Communications sold its stations, including WDUM-LD, to HC2 Holdings in 2017.

WOGL (98.1 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to serve Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by Audacy, Inc. and broadcasts a classic hits radio format. The broadcast tower used by the station is located in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, at (40°2′30″N 75°14′10″W). The station's studios and offices are co-located within Audacy's corporate headquarters in Center City, Philadelphia. The station features mostly hits from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s with some 2000s hits. WOGL uses HD Radio, and broadcasts a classic dance format on its HD2 subchannel. The talk radio programming of sister station WPHT is simulcast on its HD3 subchannel, while the programming on its HD4 subchannel was all related to Philadelphia Phillies baseball. The HD4 subchannel has since been turned off. Prior to 2018, the station played Christmas music during the holiday season; this practice was discontinued after WBEB, which also broadcasts Christmas music during the season, was acquired by Entercom (forerunner of Audacy).
