The station is owned by Innovate Corp., with a transmitter located at the Roxborough antenna farm in northwest Philadelphia. Founded as W08CC in 1986 by Paul Engle, the station is one of the oldest low-power TV stations in New Jersey. For 25 years, it provided a mix of local interest and syndicated programs. After being sold in 2012, it has primarily carried Spanish-language broadcast networks, including MundoFox/MundoMax and Azteca América.

WBEB (101.1 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to serve Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Owned by Audacy, Inc., the station broadcasts an adult contemporary format, switching to Christmas music for part of November and December. The broadcast tower used by the station is in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia at (40°2′19.7″N 75°14′12.8″W), The radio studios are co-located within Audacy's corporate headquarters in Center City, Philadelphia. In addition to a standard analog transmission, WBEB broadcasts over two HD Radio channels, and is available online via Audacy. Prior to 2018, WBEB was co-founded and owned by broadcaster Jerry Lee, and was recognized as one of the last independently owned and operated major market FM stations remaining in the United States. WBEB has been a top-ranking station in the Philadelphia Nielsen Audio ratings since the early 1990s; this dominance has been further demonstrated during the holiday season, where WBEB has historically seen the largest ratings gains among U.S. radio stations that switch to Christmas music.

The studios and offices are in Bala Cynwyd and the broadcast tower is on Wigard Avenue in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia at (40°02′19.7″N 75°14′12.8″W).The station plays a mix of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s hits, with some current hot adult contemporary singles. Named after Benjamin Franklin, BEN-FM's slogan is "Playing Anything We Feel Like." The formula originated in Canada as Jack FM. Unlike many adult hits stations, WBEN-FM uses DJs. The station imaging is handled by Howard Cogan, the former voice of Jack FM. Actor John O'Hurley of the TV show Seinfeld previously did the station imaging.

The station's studios and offices are co-located within Audacy's corporate headquarters in Center City, Philadelphia. The station features mostly hits from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s with some 2000s hits. WOGL uses HD Radio, and broadcasts a classic dance format on its HD2 subchannel. The talk radio programming of sister station WPHT is simulcast on its HD3 subchannel, while the programming on its HD4 subchannel was all related to Philadelphia Phillies baseball. The HD4 subchannel has since been turned off. Prior to 2018, the station played Christmas music during the holiday season; this practice was discontinued after WBEB, which also broadcasts Christmas music during the season, was acquired by Entercom (forerunner of Audacy).
