The Statue of Liberty Replica Monument is an outdoor replica of the Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World), installed on the Texas State Capitol grounds in Austin, Texas, United States. The bronze replica was cast by the Friedley-Voshardt Company and erected by the Boy Scouts of America in 1951.

The Pearl Harbor Monument is a memorial commemorating Texans enrolled in the military during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, installed on the Texas State Capitol grounds in Austin, Texas, United States. The Texas Sunset Red Granite and marble monument was designed by Scott Field and erected by the Pearl Harbor Survivors of Texas in 1989. It features inscriptions and the bronze seal of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.

The Tribute to Texas Children Monument is an outdoor memorial commemorating children of Texas, installed on the Texas State Capitol grounds in Austin, Texas, United States. The monument was sculpted by Lawrence Ludtke, funded by students from 600 schools across the state, and erected in 1998. It features bronze statues of children on a field trip to the Capitol.

The World War I Monument is an outdoor memorial commemorating veterans of World War I (including nearly 200,000 Texans), installed on the Texas State Capitol grounds in Austin, Texas, United States. The Texas Sunset Red Granite monument, designed by an unknown artist, was erected by members of the Department of Texas, Veterans of Foreign Wars in 1961. It lists the barracks and auxiliaries that worked to create the memorial.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial is an outdoor monument by Edward L. Hankey commemorating the more than 289,000 Texans who served in the Korean War, installed on the Texas State Capitol grounds, in Austin, Texas, United States. The memorial was erected in 1999 by the Texas Lone Star Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association. It features a star-shaped Texas Sunset Red Granite pedestal topped with a bronze sculpture of an eagle.

The Veterans of the 36th Infantry, Texas National Guard Monument is an outdoor memorial commemorating soldiers of the 36th Infantry, Texas National Guard, installed on the Texas State Capitol grounds in Austin, Texas, United States. The monument, designed by an unknown artist, was erected in 1959. It is made of Texas Sunset Red Granite and features the unit's "T-Patch" shoulder insignia.

The Wahrenberger House is located two blocks from the Texas Capitol, at 208 W. 14th Street, in Austin, Travis County, in the U.S. state of Texas. The home was built between 1867 and 1868 by Friedrich Huster and sold to Charles Klein after completion. The house is named for Klein's daughter Caroline Wahrenberger, who was deeded the house in 1882. Since it was built, the house has served as a residence for several generations of the Klein–Wahrenberger family, and was the location for two German–American schools. At different times, both Pat Morris Neff and Sam Rayburn lived in the residence when Mrs. Wahrenberger ran it as a boarding house. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Travis County, Texas in 1978, and was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1972.

The Goodman Building is a late Victorian style historic commerce building in downtown Austin, Texas. It was constructed as a grocery in the mid-1880s to serve Austinites northwest of the Texas State Capitol. Today it serves as a state government adjunct office. A local bar, "The Cloak Room," occupies the basement and is a favorite for government employees. It is located at 202 W. 13th Street. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Texas State Capitol is the capitol and seat of government of the American state of Texas. Located in downtown Austin, Texas, the structure houses the offices and chambers of the Texas Legislature and of the Governor of Texas. Designed in 1881 by architect Elijah E. Myers, it was constructed from 1882 to 1888 under the direction of civil engineer Reuben Lindsay Walker. A $75 million underground extension was completed in 1993. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and recognized as a National Historic Landmark in 1986.The Texas State Capitol is 302.64 feet (92.24 m) tall, making it the sixth-tallest state capitol and one of several taller than the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. The capitol was ranked 92nd in the 2007 "America's Favorite Architecture" poll commissioned by the American Institute of Architects.
