The National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum, formerly the National Cowboys of Color Museum and Hall of Fame, is a museum and hall of fame in Fort Worth, Texas.

Texas Wesleyan University is a private Methodist university in Fort Worth, Texas. It was founded in 1890 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The main campus is located in the Polytechnic Heights neighborhood of Fort Worth. Its mascot is the ram.

Its county seat is Fort Worth. Tarrant County, one of 26 counties created out of the Peters Colony, was established in 1849 and organized the next year. It was named in honor of General Edward H. Tarrant of the Republic of Texas militia.

Paul Laurence Dunbar High School is a comprehensive high school in the Stop Six neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Named for the dialectical poet Paul Laurence Dunbar, the school strives to educate the majority African-American community it serves.

Cutting Edge Haunted House is a haunted house attraction located in an abandoned meat packing factory in Fort Worth, Texas. It was opened in October, 1991. It utilizes old machinery from when the building was a meat packing plant as part of its attraction.Guinness World Records recorded the attraction as "The World's Largest Haunted House" four times. The attraction received a record in Guinness World Records for "World's Largest Walk Through Haunted House".

The Masonic Home and School of Texas was a home for widows and orphans in what is now Fort Worth, Texas from 1889 to 2005. The first superintendent was Dr. Frank Rainey of Austin, Texas. Starting in 1913, it had its own school system, the Masonic Home Independent School District. Orphan Blake R. Van Leer was the only boy in 1909, went on to become president of Georgia Tech and civil rights advocate.The campus included buildings designed by architects Wiley G. Clarkson of Fort Worth and Herbert M. Greene of Dallas, and it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district in 1992.

I.M Terrell High School was a secondary school located in Fort Worth, Texas. The school opened in 1882 as the city's first black school, during the era of formal racial segregation in the United States. Though the high school closed in 1973, the building reopened as an elementary school in 1998. After undergoing extensive remodeling and expansion, it is now the home of the I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA. The school building lies within the Butler Place Historic District.

Eastern Hills High School is a four-year public high school in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The school is educating students in grades 9–12, as part of the Fort Worth Independent School District. In an historical footnote, the band from the school played "Hail to the Chief" during President John F. Kennedy's visit to Dallas–Fort Worth in November 1963. EHHS is also the only school in the world with two Pulitizer Prize-winning photographers as alums -- "Skeeter" Hagler and Michael Ainsworth. The school has been recognized by the National Football League as part of its 50th Anniversary Super Bowl High School Honor Roll for serving as the home school for two former Super Bowl Players - Uwe von Schamann and Byron Chamberlain - as well as for Doug Hart, who played for the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowls I and II following graduation from EHHS's predecessor, Handley High School. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,215 students and 96.2 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 12.6:1.
