Huron Meadows Metropark

Green Oak Village Place is a power center located in Green Oak Township, serving Brighton, Michigan, United States. The mall, opened in stages between 2006 and 2008, includes six anchor stores: Barnes & Noble, Dick's Sporting Goods, DSW Shoe Warehouse, HomeGoods, JCPenney, Pier 1 Imports; Five Below; TJ Maxx and more than forty inline tenants. It is managed by REDICO.

W.J. Maxey Boys Training School was a juvenile corrections facility that served delinquent male youths ages 12–21 years old. The facility has sixty beds and provided services to Michigan youth who require intensive or specialized rehabilitation treatment and a high level of security and structure. Maxey closed on October 1, 2015, due to budget cuts in Michigan.

Woodland Center Correctional Facility (WCC) is a Michigan prison for male prisoners with serious mental illnesses who cannot function adequately in a general prison population.

Island Lake State Recreation Area is a state-run park in Green Oak Township, Livingston County, in metro Detroit in Michigan. The 4,000-acre (1,600 ha) park lies on the Huron River and Kent Lake, an impoundment of the river, just downstream of Kensington Metropark with which it is also connected by a bike trail. It is the third busiest park operated by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources with visitation of 1.09 million in 2008. The park is easily accessed as it lies near the intersection of I-96 and US-23. The park has a group campsite and a canoe-in campsite, several miles of hiking and biking trails, a shooting range, swimming and a couple of small lakes. It is the only Michigan park to have a hot air balloon launch area.

Brighton is a city in Livingston County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 7,446. Brighton forms part of the South Lyon-Howell-Brighton Urban Area. It is one of two incorporated cities in Livingston County, and incorporates land that was part of Brighton, Green Oak and Genoa townships.

Green Oak Charter Township is a charter township of Livingston County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 19,539. In September 2005, the township board voted to incorporate as a charter township, becoming the second charter township in Livingston County.

Decision Pending is a bronze sculpture located in the city of Brighton, Michigan. The statue is located near the Brighton Mill Pond Park on the North side of Main Street; it stands at five feet tall and is 20 inches wide. The statue is a dis-proportioned naked man standing upright. The statue was created by artist Jay Holland and was donated to the city by a citizen’s group as part of the 2006 Brighton Biennial, a project designed to fill the downtown area with pieces of outdoor art. Due to its controversial subject matter and its proximity to the Brighton World War 2 memorial the sculpture has been the topic of much public debate and has been the topic of many articles in the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus.

Brighton High School is located in Brighton, which is part of Livingston County, Michigan, United States. BHS is part of the Brighton Area School system.

The Western House, also known as the Brighton Hotel, is a former hotel and boarding house at 500 West Main Street in Brighton, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The building now houses the Brewery Becker.

Whitmore Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community spans the boundary between Green Oak Township in Livingston County and Northfield Township in Washtenaw County. The population of the CDP was 7,584 at the 2020 census.
