Peroorkada is a suburb of Thiruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala, India.

Kerala Law Academy (KLA), also referred to as the Kerala Law Academy Law College, is a self financing law college in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Founded in 1967, it is the first, and was for many years the only, self financing law institution in the state. It is accredited by the Bar Council of India. and affiliated to the University of Kerala. KLA has both the three-year and the five-year LL.B programs (under the graduate stream of study) and the LL.M and M.B.L programs (under the post-graduate stream of study). The college has an active Moot Court Society and students of the society has also participated in various competitions held outside India. KLA also conducts a legal aid clinic to provide legal assistance to members of the underprivileged sections of the society.

AKG Nagar is a residential locality within Peroorkada, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) in the Indian state of Kerala. There are 102 residential houses. It was developed into a colony 25-30 years back mainly by occupant government officials. As such the residents now belong to the second generation.

Kowdiar Palace in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India was built in 1934 by Maharajah Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, on Pallikettu (wedding) of his only sister, Maharani Karthika Thirunal Lakshmi Bayi with Lt. Col. G. V. Raja. After the Constitutional Amendment of 1971, the properties and estates of the royal family were partitioned and divided equally among the branches of the two Travancore Queens, Sethu Lakshmi Bayi and Sethu Parvathi Bayi. This Palace belongs to the heirs of Sethu Parvathi Bayi as it was built by her son Maharajah Sree Chithira Thirunal.Kowdiar Palace's architectural work is famous and has over 150 rooms. The entry to this palace is restricted as it is the private residence of the royal family settled in Thiruvananthapuram.

Kowdiar is one of the main localities in the city of Trivandrum, Kerala, India. It is one of the most expensive and cleanest localities in Trivandrum. It is the starting point of the Rajapatha (Royal Path) that stretches to the East Fort. It lies between the localities of Vellayambalam and Peroorkada- a suburb in the vicinity. Kowdiar is famous for the Kowdiar Palace. It is generally considered one of the most upmarket residential areas within the city and of late has seen numerous apartment complexes being built. The road to Vellayambalam is wide and beautifully maintained and it is one of the good stretches of straight road in the whole Kerala within city limits. The arterial roads from the Kowdiar Main Road are: Thenmala Road to Peroorkada Junction via Ambalamukku Pattom Road to Pattom Junction via Kuravankonam PMG TTC RoadThe area has a newly renovated park in front of the palace premises with a statue dedicated to Swami Vivekananda.

National Golf Academy and Trivandrum Golf Club is a nine-hole golf course located at Thiruvananthapuram city in the Indian state of Kerala.

Velloor Perunthatta Siva Temple is located at Velloor, near to Thalayolaparambu in Kottayam district. The presiding deity of the temple is Shiva, located in separate sanctum sanatoriums, facing east. It is believed that this temple is one of the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala and is installed by sage Parasurama dedicated to Shiva. It is one of the oldest Shiva temple in Kottayam District.

Kunnathu Sri Mahadeva Temple (കുന്നപ്പുറം, കുന്നത്ത്കാവ്)is located in the city of Thiruvananthapuram at Kudappanakunnu in Thiruvananthapuram district. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, located in separate sanctum sanatoriums, facing east. It is believed that this temple is one of the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala and is installed by sage Parasurama dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located near the Kudappanakkunnu Civil Station on the Peroorkada-Mannanthala road. The main shrine and its surroundings however has its old charm punctured by crude constructions. Other deities in the Kunnathu temples worshiped are Ganapathy and Vasuki (snake). Annual festival of the temple celebrates in the Malayalam month of Dhanu (month) (December–January).

Kudappanakunnu is the headquarters of Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala.Thiruvananthapuram Doordarshan Kendra and the District collectors office are the major landmarks here. Vazhayila, Nalanchira, Muttada and Mannanthala are some of the adjoining areas. Kunnath Mahadeva Kshethram is an ancient Shiva temple situated in Kudappanakunnu. The temple is regarded as one of the existing 108 ancient Shiva Temples of Kerala Worshiped by Parashurama.Special bus services have been started to connect Kudappanakunnu with city center and nearby areas. Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station is the nearest rail station. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport.

The Sasthamangalam Mahadevar Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in the Sasthamangalam ward of Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation, Kerala State, India. It is located on top of a hill away from the city centre to promote the spiritual tranquility of the shrine. The temple is more than 700 years old according to the available records, and was regularly visited by the Kings of Travancore. It is administered by the Travancore Devaswom Board.

Nirmala Bhavan Higher Secondary School, founded in 1964, is a girls school run by the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament(S.A.B.S). This religious congregation was founded in 1908 by the first Bishop of Changanacherry, Mar Thomas Kurialachery. The school is a minority institution, recognized as such by the Government of Kerala. It is an unaided English medium School and prepares students for the ten year Secondary School Leaving certificate (S.S.L.C) examination of the Kerala State Educational Board and two years Higher Secondary examination course of Higher Secondary Education Directorate.

Cliff House is the official residence of the Chief Minister of Kerala, located at Nanthancode in the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. The Cliff House is part of Cliff House compound, which houses four other ministerial residences and is located within the state ministerial residential zone. However, the house is a statutory-only official residence, as Indian laws and protocols do not stipulate that ministers live in any particular residence; rather the law defines the minister's actual residence, whether owned privately or by government, as the official residence. Cliff House is preferred as official residence by most of Chief Ministers of Kerala.
