Krokstadelva

Mjøndalen is a built up area in Drammen municipality in Viken county (formerly Buskerud county), Norway. It is situated south of the Drammenselva River opposite of Krokstadelva.

Consto Arena (until 2012 known as Nedre Eiker Stadion, between 2012 and 2015 as Mjøndalen Stadion and between 2015 and 2018 as Isachsen Stadion) is a football stadium located at Mjøndalen in Nedre Eiker, Norway. It is the home ground of Mjøndalen IF in the Eliteserien, providing a capacity for 4,350 spectators.

Mjøndalen Station (Norwegian: Mjøndalen stasjon) is located at the village of Mjøndalen in Nedre Eiker, Norway on the Sørlandet Line. Traditionally, this section of railway was regarded as part of the Randsfjorden Line. The station is served by local trains between Kongsberg via Oslo to Eidsvoll operated by Vy. The station was opened in 1866.

Vikkollen (Vikkollbakken, or. Wikkollen) was a K80 ski jumping hill in Mjøndalen, Norway opened in 1914. It was owned by Mjøndalen IF.

Nedre Eiker was a municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Eiker. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Mjøndalen. The old municipality of Eiker was divided into Nedre Eiker (lower Eiker) and Øvre Eiker (upper) on 1 July 1885.

Hokksund is a town in the municipality of Øvre Eiker in the county of Viken, Norway.

Solbergelva is a village in Drammen municipality, part of the Viken county, Norway. The village lies north of Drammenselva, approx. 5 miles west of Bragernes square, between Åssiden in the east and Krokstadelva in the west with Solbergfjellet north. It is part of Drammen municipality and has about 6.000 inhabitants in 2017.In the center of Solbergelva lies Solberg skole, Killingrud ungdomsskole, Solbergsentret, Solberg sport-og kultursenter, sports facilities, Solberg kapell and Solberg spinderi.Annually Solbergelva hosts Solbergfestivalen, its own festival at the end of May. Solberg SK is one of the leading bandy teams in Norway.

Steinberg Station (Norwegian: Steinberg stasjon) is located at the village of Steinberg in Nedre Eiker, Norway on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by local trains between Kongsberg via Oslo to Eidsvoll operated by Vy. The station was opened in 1906 on what was then part of the Randsfjorden Line.

Steinberg is a small village in Nedre Eiker municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. The village lies next to the municipal centre and town of Mjøndalen separated by E134 highway. The village is situated next to the Drammenselva river stretching west towards the village of Loesmoen in the neighbouring municipality of Øvre Eiker. A riverside park lies along the river. The community has both an elementary school and kindergarten, a number of businesses, an art gallery, and a sports club. High school and other students have to commute to other larger community centres in the surrounding municipalities of Nedre Eiker, Øvre Eiker or Drammen. Steinberg is principally a residential area with most of the active work force commutes by car or train to larger cities in the region such as Drammen and Oslo.The community has championed the continued survival of Steinberg Station on the Sørlandet Line (Sørlandsbanen). The station was closed for three years from December 2012 but opened once again in September 2015, much in part thanks to the "activist group for the preservation of Steinberg Train Station. Steinberg train station has been renovated for ca 30 million NOK and meets now the standards for modern trains. The national railways have wished to eliminate the Steinberg stop but have thus far been unsuccessful.Originally the rural community was called Stemberlandet, and later changed to Steinberg possibly due to a national railway standardization of placenames. Stemberlandet "the sorting land" referred to the fact that the logging industry sorted the timber in different stations along the Drammenselva river. Authorities concluded that Stemberlandet was not a real village name, and was thus changed to Steinberg.

Drammen Travbane was a harness racing track located in Drammen, Norway. The course is 800 meters (2,600 ft). Owned by Norwegian Trotting Association, its tote betting is handled by Norsk Rikstoto. The venue opened in 1955 and closed in 2019.

Åssiden Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Åssiden videregående skole) is a vocational upper secondary school located in the Åssiden area of Drammen, Norway. Of the ten vocational programs available in Norway, eight of these can be studied at Åssiden. In addition, there is an adult education department, and a department catering to pupils who have recently moved to Norway and who require additional Norwegian language tuition in order to meet the requirements of an upper secondary education.

Hokksund Station (Norwegian: Hokksund stasjon) is located in the village of Hokksund in Øvre Eiker, Norway on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by local trains between Kongsberg via Oslo to Eidsvoll operated by the Vy as well as express trains from Oslo to Bergen and Kristiansand.
