The Light Horse & Field Artillery Museum is an Australian military museum located approximately 1 hour south-east of Melbourne in Nar Nar Goon, Victoria. It contains a number of exhibits of military items including gun carriages and cooking wagons restored by owner Bernie Dingle. It also has a number of animals, including horses used in Anzac Day marches. In 2015 it was closed to the public due to a building order from Cardinia Council, which in 2014 had ordered upgrades costing $80,000 - $100,000 including large water tanks, a sprinkler system and other changes.

Gembrook railway station is located in the township of Gembrook in Victoria, Australia, east of Melbourne. It was opened with the line on 18 December 1900 and closed on 30 April 1954. The line was rebuilt to the Gembrook terminus in 1998 by the Puffing Billy Railway. Heritage steam trains operated by Puffing Billy now stop at a new "Town" platform located on the site of a former siding. A "heritage" station has also been constructed on the site of the original Gembrook station. It has a layout very similar to that of the station in the 1920s, with only minor alterations to meet modern requirements.

Prior to 17 November 2014, they were located in Pakenham.

Mount Burnett Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Mount Burnett, Victoria, Australia. It was built in 1972 to be the main astronomical observatory for Monash University. The original telescope was a 16-inch Newtonian reflector built by Mr L. Jeffree of Bendigo. Observers' quarters were built in 1975 with the aid of a grant from the William Buckland Foundation. A 10-inch Newtonian reflector was added, in a separate structure, in the early 1980s, and in 1985 the 16-inch telescope was replaced with a 0.45-meter Newtonian/Cassegrain telescope. In the late 2000s the observatory was decommissioned, as it had fallen into disuse and the quality of the site had been degraded by encroaching light pollution over the years. In 2011 the organization Mt Burnett Observatory Inc. (MBO) was formed to take over the lease on the observatory and reopen it as a public facility. Founding members were Perry Vlahos, James Murray, Barry Cleland, Ray Schmidt and Ken Beard. In 2012 both telescopes were restored and additional telescopes acquired for use in an "astronomy classroom". MBO (in partnership with the ARC Centre for Excellence in All Sky Astrophysics) won a National Science Week grant in 2014 to bring an astronomical roadshow to four venues in the Yarra Ranges. In 2015, MBO and Telescopes in Schools received a second National Science Week grant for an Astronomy and Light Festival (held at Scienceworks during Science Week). As of January 2022 MBO had over 500 members and active programs for the public and members. A second dome (to house an automated telescope) was installed in May 2017.

East Pakenham railway station is a commuter railway station and the terminus of the Pakenham line, serving the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Pakenham East in Victoria, Australia. East Pakenham is a ground-level premium station, featuring an island platform with two faces, and bypass tracks for V/Line regional services. It opened on 3 June 2024. East Pakenham station was constructed alongside a rebuilt Pakenham station, as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project. Until mid-2023, the state government referred to the station as Pakenham East railway station. The name "East Pakenham" was confirmed in a new rail network map published in May 2023 by Public Transport Victoria. It was named "East Pakenham" station so it would not be confused with the nearby Pakenham East rail depot.
