Lake Washington (Providence County, Rhode Island)

George Washington State Campground is an overnight camping facility in Chepachet, a village in the town of Glocester, Rhode Island, United States. The campground is managed by the Rhode Island Department of Parks and Recreation, and is located on Putnam Pike (Route 44). The site contains the George Washington Memorial State Forest covering 3,500 acres (1,400 ha) of protected forest land, and a 100-acre primitive camping area without electrical hookups. The area contains Bowdish Reservoir and two smaller ponds.

George Washington Memorial State Forest is a state forest on the Putnam Pike (Route 44) near the village of Chepachet in the town of Glocester, Rhode Island. The forest was founded in 1932 as Rhode Island's first state forest. It is part of the George Washington Management Area containing over 4,000 acres of protected forest land and a 100–acre primitive camping area, known as the George Washington State Campground.

Pulaski State Park is a 100-acre state park near the village of Chepachet in Glocester, Rhode Island. It was founded in 1939 and contains a day use facility inside the George Washington Management Area with a beach and covered picnic areas. The Civilian Conservation Corps built a road to the park when "[i]n 1940, the state acquired a lease from the federal government for what is now the Casimir Pulaski State Park and Peck Pond in what is now the Glocester-Burrillville line. "

The Moses Taft House is a historic house at 111 East Wallum Lake Road in Burrillville, Rhode Island. The 1+1⁄2-story side-gable Cape style house was built in 1786, and is a well-preserved example of early Federal architecture. It exhibits the typical five-bay facade, with the entry in the center bay, and a large central chimney. The house underwent a major restoration in the 2000s. Moses Taft, an early owner of the house, was a farmer and operated a nearby grist mill on the Clear River, with Seth Ross, who resided on Eagle Peak Road.Moses Taft, a 19th-century resident of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, spent time with Samuel W. Scott in Burrillville, but this house is not his namesake, it was built 26 years prior to his birth.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Pascoag is a census-designated place (CDP) and village in Providence County, Rhode Island. The population was 4,577 at the 2010 census. Pascoag is one of eight villages that make up the town of Burrillville.

The Bridgeton School is an historic school building located at 16 Laurel Hill Avenue in Burrillville, Rhode Island. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame schoolhouse was designed by George W. Spaulding and built in 1897 by Nehemiah Kimball & William H. Gory. It served the Burrillville public schools until 1966. In 1970 it was reopened for use as a kindergarten as the Joseph Sweeney School. It was finally closed in 1995, and was then transferred to the Burrillville Historical & Preservation Society. It is the best preserved of Burrillville's late 19th-century school buildings.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Ponaganset High School is a school of the Foster-Glocester School District, located in Glocester, Rhode Island in Providence County. (It has a North Scituate, Rhode Island address for postal purposes.) The majority of high school students live in the rural towns of Glocester and Foster, Rhode Island. This is a public high school, known for its music program, AP and honors classes, as well as its CTE approved pathways; Plant Systems, Animal Systems, Materials and Manufacturing, Pre-Engineering, Music Technology, Music Performance, and Pending Programs: Computer Science and Information Technology, and Biomedical. The school's athletic teams are known as the "Chieftains," and the FIRST Robotics Competition Team is known as "5112, The Gongoliers." The principal is Renee Palazzo.

Quaddick State Park is a public recreation area located on 203-acre (82 ha) Middle Quaddick Reservoir in the town of Thompson, Connecticut. The state park is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and offers opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, and picnicking.

Mt. Hygeia (also known as the "Solomon Drown House") is an historic farm property at 83 Mt. Hygeia Road in Foster, Rhode Island, United States.

The Pascoag Grammar School, also previously the Burrillville High School, is a historic school building at 265 Sayles Avenue in the Pascoag village of Burrillville, Rhode Island. The Colonial Revival school was built in 1917 by Thomas McLaughlin and Mahoney & Coffey to replace a previous school that had burned. There had been a school on the site since at least the mid-19th century. The school is a T-shaped brick structure 2+1⁄2 stories high. It has fifteen bays across its main facade, with a raised center entrance. When built it first served as the town's high school. In 1936 a new high school building was built, and this one the served strictly as an elementary school until it was closed in 1995. It sat vacant until 2005, when it was acquired by a developer and rehabilitated.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. In 2007, it was converted into condominiums.

Jerimoth Hill (812 ft, 247 m) is the highest point in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is the lowest state highpoint in New England. Located in the town of Foster in the northwest of the state, the site is used as an observatory. It is also a popular destination for highpointers, and prior to 2005 was known for being difficult to access due to a local landowner who prohibited entry.
