Mount Hygeia

Jerimoth Hill (812 ft, 247 m) is the highest point in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is the lowest state highpoint in New England. Located in the town of Foster in the northwest of the state, the site is used as an observatory. It is also a popular destination for highpointers, and prior to 2005 was known for being difficult to access due to a local landowner who prohibited entry.

The Ponaganset River is a river in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It flows approximately 12.5 miles (20.1 km). There are three dams along the river's length.

Ponaganset High School is a school of the Foster-Glocester School District, located in Glocester, Rhode Island in Providence County. (It has a North Scituate, Rhode Island address for postal purposes.) The majority of high school students live in the rural towns of Glocester and Foster, Rhode Island. This is a public high school, known for its music program, AP and honors classes, as well as its CTE approved pathways; Plant Systems, Animal Systems, Materials and Manufacturing, Pre-Engineering, Music Technology, Music Performance, and Pending Programs: Computer Science and Information Technology, and Biomedical. The school's athletic teams are known as the "Chieftains," and the FIRST Robotics Competition Team is known as "5112, The Gongoliers." The principal is Renee Palazzo.

Killingly Pond State Park is a public recreation area encompassing 162 acres (66 ha) in the town of Killingly, Connecticut. The state park sits on the western side of Killingly Pond, a 122-acre (49 ha) body of water that straddles the state line between Connecticut and Rhode Island. The park offers boating, fishing, hiking, and hunting.

Swamp Meadow Bridge is a covered bridge crossing Hemlock Brook located on Central Pike in the town of Foster, Rhode Island. It is the second bridge to be built at this site.

The Hopkins Mill District is a historic district in Foster, Rhode Island. It encompasses a historic mill village that extends along Old Danielson Pike between its two junctions with Danielson Pike (United States Route 6). The area has been the site of mills (at first grist- and sawmills) since the 18th century, and includes one of Foster's oldest houses, the c. 1720 Hopkins-Potter House at 21 Old Danielson Pike. Prominent public buildings in the district include the c. 1830 Curtis Hall at 18 Danielson Pike, which was long used as a tavern and social gathering place, and the 1869-71 Hopkins Falls Union Church.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, where it is misspelled "Nopkins".

Foster is a town in Providence County, Rhode Island, in the United States. The population was 4,469 at the 2020 census.

Foster Center is a village in the town of Foster, Rhode Island, United States. It was listed as a census-designated place (CDP) in 2010, with a population of 355. Historic elements of the village are included in the Foster Center Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 11, 1974. The district features various colonial and Greek Revival houses as well as the still functioning town building from the late 18th century.

George Washington Memorial State Forest is a state forest on the Putnam Pike (Route 44) near the village of Chepachet in the town of Glocester, Rhode Island. The forest was founded in 1932 as Rhode Island's first state forest. It is part of the George Washington Management Area containing over 4,000 acres of protected forest land and a 100–acre primitive camping area, known as the George Washington State Campground.

George Washington State Campground is an overnight camping facility in Chepachet, a village in the town of Glocester, Rhode Island, United States. The campground is managed by the Rhode Island Department of Parks and Recreation, and is located on Putnam Pike (Route 44). The site contains the George Washington Memorial State Forest covering 3,500 acres (1,400 ha) of protected forest land, and a 100-acre primitive camping area without electrical hookups. The area contains Bowdish Reservoir and two smaller ponds.
