Tartu University Clinic

Tartu University Hospital Children's Foundation (Estonian: Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi Lastefond) is one of the largest and oldest charitable foundations in Estonia that provides support for the programs and initiatives of children's hospitals. Since 2001, Children's Foundation has raised more than one million euros for children.

Maarjamõisa (Estonian for "Mary's Manor") is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia. It's located about 2 km southwest of the city centre, just north of Riia street (Jõhvi–Tartu–Valga road, E264). With the population of 382 (as of 31 December 2013), Maarjamõisa is the smallest neighbourhood of Tartu. The area is 1.13 km2 (0.44 sq mi).Maarjamõisa is best known as a medical centre, because most of the buildings of Tartu University Clinic are located in Maarjamõisa, including all the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu. Recently also other faculties of the university have opened their new buildings there, such as the Technology Institute, the Biomedical Center (Biomedicum), the Chemistry building (Chemicum), and the Physics building (Physicum).

Tartu railway station (Estonian: Tartu raudteejaam) is the main railway station in Tartu, Estonia. Tartu railway station is situated west of the centre Tartu. It was established in 1876 when Tapa–Tartu route was built. The station building was opened in 1877. Passenger trains are operated by Elron and most services are towards Tallinn. There are also services to Valga and to Jõgeva, Orava, Koidula and Piusa.There are two platforms with the length of 260m and 330m.

The Tartu TV Mast (Estonian: Soinaste telemast) is a truss tower located in Tammelinn, Tartu, Estonia. The tower stands 185.9 metres (610 ft) tall and was originally constructed in 1957. In 2011 the antenna was rebuilt. It is one of the tallest structures in Estonia.

Tartu Health Care College (Estonian: Tartu Tervishoiu Kõrgkool) is a higher education institution providing training to healthcare specialists in Estonia. The current rector of Tartu Health Care College is Ulla Preeden.

Tammelinn (Estonian for 'oak town') is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia. It has a population of 8,153 (as of 31 December 2013) and an area of 3.11 km2 (1.20 sq mi).

Miina Härma Gymnasium (Estonian: Miina Härma Gümnaasium; abbreviated as MHG) is an institution composed of a primary school and a secondary school in Tartu, Estonia. The school holds a special emphasis on languages. Miina Härma Gymnasium is an IB World School offering the Diploma Programme and the Primary Years Programme, and a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme.

Tähtvere is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia. It has a population of 2,989 (as of 31 December 2013) and an area of 2.50 km2 (0.97 sq mi).

The Estonian Students' Society (Estonian: Eesti Üliõpilaste Selts; commonly used acronym: EÜS) is the largest and oldest all-male academical student society in Estonia, and is similar to the Baltic German student organizations known as corporations (Corps) (not to be confused with US college fraternities). It was founded in 1870 at Tartu. It has over 900 members in Estonia and abroad. In 1881 the Society adopted blue, black and white as its colours. Its first flag was made in 1884 and this tricolour was later (1918) accepted as the National Flag of Estonia. The original flag is still in existence. In the wake of the Estonian national awakening, many young Estonian intellectuals had ties to the EÜS, and the organization had impact beyond its borders. It was instrumental in the founding of the Estonian National Museum in 1909, and the EÜS library was donated to the museum. The Museum was later split into two, and its Archive Library formed the basis of the Estonian Literary Museum. The building of the Estonian Students' Society in Tartu has been considered to be one of the first examples of Estonian national architecture. The Treaty of Tartu between Finland and Soviet Russia was signed in the building in 1920. Former members of the EÜS founded the academic corporations Fraternitas Estica (1907), Sakala (1909) and the association Veljesto.

Veeriku is a neighbourhood of Tartu located about 2 km west of the city centre, just beyond the railway that bisects the city. Veeriku has a population of 5,502 (as of 31 December 2013) and an area of 2.81 km2 (1.08 sq mi).

Korporatsioon Revelia (also Korp! Revelia) is an all-male fraternity in Estonia. It was founded in 1920.
