Corona Heights is a neighborhood in San Francisco, California, just north of Market Street and Eureka Valley. Corona Heights is often considered part of the Castro and Upper Market areas.

Tank Hill Park is located in San Francisco near the intersection of Clayton Street and Twin Peaks Boulevard, which circumscribes the hill to the south and east. A rocky outcropping defines the north side, which falls in cliffs to houses below. From the south, and higher side of the hill, along Twin Peaks Boulevard, steps and a path lead to the top of the hill, which offers wonderful views of downtown San Francisco and the Golden Gate. The top of the hill offers flat and paved areas that date back to civic waterworks that once existed on the top of the hill. Tank Hill is a popular area for local residents to gather to watch municipal fireworks on the 4th of July. Crissy Field, to the north, is the usual site of a large San Francisco fireworks display, but the hills also offers views of fireworks in Oakland and the East Bay.

Cole Valley is a small neighborhood in San Francisco, California. It borders Golden Gate Park to the north, Haight-Ashbury to the northeast, The Castro to the east. and Twin Peaks to the south. Near Kezar Stadium, Cole Valley is the smallest neighborhood in the city.

Zazie is a restaurant on Cole Street in Cole Valley, San Francisco which specializes in American brunches and Provençal dinners. The restaurant was established in 1992 by Catherine Opoix, and is currently owned by Jennifer Piallat who purchased the restaurant in 2005 and also works as the head chef. Piallat has been given several awards for her methods in running the restaurant and treatment of her employees.

Carl and Cole is a light rail stop on the Muni Metro N Judah line, located in the Cole Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The western portal of the Sunset Tunnel is located just east of the station. The station opened with the N Judah line on October 21, 1928.

Kite Hill is a city park and natural area in the Castro district of San Francisco, California. At an elevation of 350 feet, the 2.87 acre park is named for its gusty winds. The natural area includes a panoramic view of San Francisco. Kite Hill was purchased by the city and incorporated into the San Francisco Natural Areas Program in 1977.

Corona Heights Park is a park in the Castro and Corona Heights neighborhoods of San Francisco, California, United States. It is situated immediately to the south of Buena Vista Park. Corona Heights is bounded in part by Flint Street on the east, Roosevelt Way to the north, and 16th Street to the south. The base of the hill is at approximately 300 feet (91 m), while the peak extends to 520 feet (158 m) above sea level.Corona Heights Playground and the Randall Museum are located within the Corona Heights Park. The whole area is underlain by Franciscan chert bedrock, and a large percentage of the hill is barren. At the hilltop, the chert bedrock in terra cotta red is clearly visible. The steps leading up to the peak are not supported by handrails. The peak of the hill is windy, but it offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the city of San Francisco from downtown to the Twin Peaks.

The Chinese Immersion School at De Avila is the latest incarnation of the historic Dudley Stone School, founded in San Francisco, California, in 1896 and surviving the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of 1906. The kindergarten-through-fifth-grade school provides instruction in Chinese.

The Alfred E. Clarke Mansion, also known as the Caselli Mansion, Nobby Clarke's Castle and Nobby Clarke's Folly, is a mansion at 250 Douglass Street on the corner of Caselli Avenue in Eureka Valley, San Francisco, California. Built in 1891 by Alfred "Nobby" Clarke, it has been a hospital and is now an apartment building. It became a San Francisco Designated Landmark in 1975.

Buena Vista Park is a park in the Haight-Ashbury and Buena Vista Heights neighborhoods of San Francisco, California. It is the oldest official park in San Francisco, established in 1867 as Hill Park, later renamed Buena Vista. It is bounded by Haight Street to the north, and by Buena Vista Avenue West and Buena Vista Avenue East. The park is on a steep hill that peaks at 575 feet (175 m), and covers 37 acres (150,000 m2). The lowest section is the north end along Haight.

Haight-Ashbury () is a district of San Francisco, California, named for the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets. It is also called The Haight and The Upper Haight. The neighborhood is known as one of the main centers of the hippie and counterculture of the 1960s.

Haight Street () is the principal street in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district, also known as the Upper Haight due to its elevation. The street stretches from Market Street, through the Lower Haight neighborhood, to Stanyan Street in the Upper Haight, at Golden Gate Park. In most blocks it is residential, but in the Upper and Lower Haight it is also a neighborhood shopping street, with residences above the ground floor shops. It is named after California pioneer and exchange banker Henry Haight (1820–1869).
