Puente Hills Mall

The Puente Hills are a chain of hills, one of the lower Transverse Ranges, in an unincorporated area in eastern Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. The western end of the range is often referred to locally as the Whittier Hills.

City of Industry is a city in the San Gabriel Valley, in eastern Los Angeles County, California, United States. The city is almost entirely industrial, containing over 3,000 businesses employing 67,000 people, with only 264 residents as of the 2020 census, making it the third least populous city in the state. It was incorporated on June 18, 1957, and has become the economic hub for the San Gabriel Valley.

Glen A. Wilson High School is a public high school located in Hacienda Heights, California. It is one of two high schools located in the unincorporated community, and one of four in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. Wilson was ranked 333 out of 804 in Newsweek's 2003 web-exclusive extended list of top U.S. public high schools. It ranked 861 in the 2007 list of the top 1,000 U.S. public schools. Wilson was ranked 121 out of 500 in Newsweek's America's Best High Schools in 2011.

The Industry Hills Aquatic Club (IHAC) was a prominent USA Swimming club located in the City of Industry, California, from 1979 until August 2005. For almost three decades, the Club was a successful training ground for a considerable number of athletes, some achieving success at the highest levels of the sport, both nationally and internationally, such as the olympic games. In addition to swimming, the organization included water polo and diving teams composed of athletes achieving similar success. The Aquatic Center's pools also served the community as a popular venue for high school swim meets, youth swim lessons, and U.S. Masters Swimming. The organization ceased to exist in 2005 when the City of Industry decided to demolish the Industry Hills Aquatics Center. The pool was demolished four years later, in March 2009.

Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms (commonly referred to as Industry Hills), is a golf club located in the City of Industry, California. It is made up of two 18-hole courses known as The Ike and The Babe. It is the location of PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour qualifiers and hosted the 2011 Kia Classic.

The Olympia Gold Classic was a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour, held in southern California in Los Angeles County from 1978 to 1982. It was played in late winter at the Rancho Park Golf Course in the city of Los Angeles from 1978 to 1980 as the "Sunstar Classic," then moved east to Industry Hills Golf Club in City of Industry in 1981 and 1982, in a renamed event sponsored by Olympia Brewing Company.

South San Jose Hills is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 20,551 at the 2010 census, up from 20,218 at the 2000 census.

John A. Rowland House in the City of Industry, California was built in 1855. It was the home of pioneer John A. Rowland, of the Workman-Rowland party, co-leader of the first American band of settlers to reach Southern California in 1841. John A. Rowland built this home for his second wife, Charlotte M. Gray. The John Rowland House is noteworthy for being the oldest surviving brick structure in Southern California. Built in 1855, the Greek Revival architecture style was used by John Rowland. Victoria, his daughter of the second marriage, inherited the home and in 1879 married Capt. John W. Hudson. The latter's daughter inherited the property and in 1920 married William Dibble of the Oakwell Rancho in Covina. It is undergoing many improvements in preparation for future reopening (the interior is currently closed due to earthquake damage).

Awigna (also, Awiz-na) is a former Tongva-Gabrieleño Native American settlement located at the site of modern-day La Puente High School, in the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles County, California.The settlement was one of twenty seven villages included in the records of Mission San Gabriel, indicating that villagers from Awigna were baptized there after its establishment in the Los Angeles Basin in 1776. Awigna was described as "one of the principal rancherias to supply it [the mission] with neophytes."In 1915, La Puente High School was built on the village site. During the construction process, many artifacts from the village were unearthed and were reportedly put on display at the school for many years. In 2004, it was reported that the whereabouts of these artifacts were unknown.

Oxford School is a private middle and high school in Rowland Heights, California. It serves grades 6–12. As of 2017 Scott Adams is the principal. The school was founded in 1980 and has been at its current location since 1997. The school, located behind a strip mall, consists of multiple portable classrooms and a grass field with a soccer goal, basketball courts, and a badminton or volleyball net.

The Industry Hills Expo Center is an 125-acre event venue (51 ha) in the City of Industry, California, United States. The multi-purpose arena seats over 5,000 spectators and was home to the Los Angeles Lynx of the National Indoor Football League. Built in 1981, the venue has other smaller buildings along with outdoor horse arenas.The venue is one of the top venues for motorcycle speedway in the United States.

William Workman High School is the only public high school located in City of Industry, California. It is one of four high schools in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. For sports part of the Montview League.
