Wok Tai Wan (Chinese: 鑊底灣) was a bay on the northwest coast of Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. The beach in the bay was once a naturist resort. The difficulties involved in getting to the bay on foot with high its surrounding hills, or by small boat because of turbulence in the nearby sea, made it the ideal place for nudists to swim and sunbathe. Because of the resort, the bay once became an attraction for hikers even after the activities ceased. Wok Tai in Cantonese means the bottom of the wok, a round-bottom pan. The bay named because its wok shape.

Kwai Tsing is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It consists of two parts - Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi Island. Kwai Tsing is part of the New Territories. It had a population of 520,572 in 2016. The district has the third least educated residents and their income is below average. Kwai Tsing did not exist as a standalone district when Hong Kong's District Boards were formed in the early 1980s. It remained as a part of Tsuen Wan district until 1985. The newly created district was known as Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi District (葵涌及青衣區) until 1988, when its name was shortened to Kwai Tsing District. The internationally famous container terminals can be found within the district, along the shores of Rambler Channel between Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi Island. The Tsing Ma Bridge, leading to the Hong Kong International Airport through the North Lantau Highway, starts at the northwestern end of Tsing Yi Island. Over 75% of the district residents live in public housing.

Lantau Link Visitors Centre is located on the Tsing Yi Island of Hong Kong. It displays the information of the Lantau Link. The Centre contains models, photographs and panel texts about the Link. There is a video on building of the Tsing Ma Bridge as well as one on the Airport Core Programme. A cross-section of the Tsing Ma Bridge's main suspension cable is on display outside the centre. There are two computer quizzes provided for the visitors testing their knowledge of the Lantau Link. There is a viewing platform outside the centre; the Tsing Ma Bridge can be viewed on the platform.

Kam Chuk Kok (Chinese: 金竹角) is a cape on the west shore of Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. The shore was reclaimed for a Shell oil depot. The Chinese name of Kam Chuk Kok means the cape of golden bamboo.

Ngau Kok Wan (Chinese: 牛角灣) was a bay on the north coast of Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Cement Plant of the Hong Kong Cement Manufacturing Company Limited at Tsing Leng Tsui is now located in the reclaimed bay. Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and the Ting Kau Bridge join above the location. It houses several DNS servers.

Tsing Ma Bridge is a bridge in Hong Kong. It is the world's 16th-longest span suspension bridge, and was the second longest at time of completion. The bridge was named after the two islands it connects, namely Tsing Yi and Ma Wan. It has two decks and carries both road and rail traffic, which also makes it the largest suspension bridge of this type. The bridge has a main span of 1,377 metres (4,518 ft) and a height of 206 metres (676 ft). The span is the longest of all bridges in the world carrying rail traffic. The 41-metre-wide (135 ft) bridge deck carries six lanes of automobile traffic, with three lanes in each direction. The lower level contains two rail tracks and two sheltered carriageways used for maintenance access and traffic lanes when particularly severe typhoons strike Hong Kong and the bridge deck is closed to traffic.

Ma Wan Channel (Chinese: 馬灣海峽) is a channel between Ma Wan and Tsing Yi islands in Hong Kong. The north end of the channel is Ting Kau where it joins the Rambler Channel. To the west it joins with the Kap Shui Mun channel running to the south of Ma Wan, leading into Urmston Road. To the east, it divides into the Tsing Yi Channel and the Rambler Channel, leading to Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung. To the south is the Western Working Anchorage of Victoria Harbour. A long suspension bridge, the Tsing Ma Bridge, connects Ma Wan and Tsing Yi, bridging across the Ma Wan channel. One of the bridge towers stands on an artificial island near the Ma Wan side of the channel.Historically, it is also known as Kai Tap Mun (雞踏門) or Kai Tsap Mun (雞閘門).

Tam Kon Shan (Chinese: 擔杆山 or 担杆山) is a hill that stands between Moon Tsai Tong and Cheung Shue Tau on Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. Part of the hill was removed to build the west half of the Cheung On Estate. The nearby Tam Kon Shan Road and Tam Kon Shan Interchange were named after the hill.

Ting Kau Bridge is a 1,177-metre (3,862 ft) long cable-stayed bridge in Hong Kong that spans from the northwest of Tsing Yi Island and Tuen Mun Road. It is near the Tsing Ma Bridge which also serves as a major connector between the Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island and the rest of Hong Kong. It was completed on 5 May 1998. The bridge is toll-free. The bridge is part of Route 3, connecting Northwest New Territories with Hong Kong Island. Other major structures on the road include the Tai Lam Tunnel, the Cheung Tsing Tunnel, the Cheung Tsing Bridge and the Western Harbour Crossing. The Ting Kau Bridge carries the heaviest traffic volume of the bridges on the Lantau Link, with many container trucks travelling between mainland China and the HK container port. A chromatic study and specially designed architectural lighting are intended to set the bridge off in its surroundings.

Cheung Tsing Highway (Chinese: 長青公路; Cantonese Yale: cheung4 ching1 gung1 lou6) is a highway of Route 3 between Cheung Tsing Tunnel and North West Tsing Yi Interchange on Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. It was built as part of the Airport Core Programme together with the rest of Route 3 to provide a new highway link from North Western New Territories towards Hong Kong Island, and connects with Route 8 to provide access to the new Hong Kong International Airport. It leads to Tsing Long Highway at North West Tsing Yi Interchange, and also connects to Lantau Link and Tsing Yi Road West there. Its eastern end leads into Cheung Tsing Tunnel which is connected to Tsing Kwai Highway by Cheung Tsing Bridge. In the early morning of 30 November 2018, a coach ferrying workers to Hong Kong International Airport collided with a broken-down taxi on the highway, killing six people – the coach driver, the taxi driver and four of the coach passengers. The coach driver was suspected to have fallen asleep, and had previously been involved in two other early-morning coach accidents in 2018. On 5 December, a memorial service for four of the victims was held at the accident site on the portion of Cheung Tsing Highway in Tsing Yi; the section of road was closed for two hours.

Yau Kom Tau (Chinese: 油柑頭) is a geographical feature at the north shore of Tsing Yi Island in Hong Kong. It originally was a flat headland formed by a small hill with a bay, Ngau Kok Wan, on its east and a valley and a swamp on its west. Its natural shoreline was reclaimed for the relocation of shipyards from Cheung Sha Wan. There are only two roads, Tam Kon Shan Road and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road on the headland.

Liu To (Chinese: 寮肚) is the area around the valley in the midwest of Tsing Yi Island. There is a stream in the valley watering the narrow band of agricultural fields of Liu To Village (寮肚村). Its water formerly filled the Tsing Yi Lagoon and nurtured the rice paddies around the lagoon but now is just water flowing in the underground nullah to the Rambler Channel. The valley has occasionally been referred to as the Liu To Valley (寮肚谷) and the surrounding hills as Liu To Hill (寮肚山). The Mount Haven (曉峰園) private housing estate sits deep in the valley, while the Cheung Wang Estate and the Cheung Hang Estate stand on the surrounding hills to the north. Liu To Bridge, part of Tsing Yi West Road, spans the valley. The Tsing Yi Nature Trail runs over the hills at the back of the valley.
