Uniontown Historic District is a national historic district at Uniontown, Carroll County, Maryland, United States. The district comprises nearly the entirety of Uniontown and contains a remarkably cohesive and well-preserved collection of houses, commercial buildings, churches, and schools reflecting the development of this agricultural village from the turn of the 19th century through the 1930s. It is an example of a linear townscape typical of small settlements in rural north-central Maryland during the 19th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Uniontown Academy

Uniontown Academy is a historic school located at Uniontown, Carroll County, Maryland, United States. It is a one-story building of brick with a stone foundation constructed in 1851 and is said to be a replica of the earlier, 1810 structure. It is three bays wide and three bays long, with a gable roof. The front facade features a "false" front effect with its corbeled or stepped setbacks derived from a traditional Dutch style often seen in the false store fronts of western towns. The property retains many of its outbuildings and is operated as an inn and restaurant. The Uniontown Academy was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.Trevanion is a 2+1⁄2-story brick dwelling with an asymmetrical central hall plan with a tower. The original 1817 house was converted in 1855 to the "villa style" then popular in America, incorporating a combination of Italianate and Gothic architecture elements. Reflecting this is a brick tower and an adjoining gable end projection. In 1857, a 3+1⁄2-story wing was added. "Trevanion" is a family name and a term meaning "the meeting of streams" in Welsh.Trevanion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
