Cedar Villa Estates, Saskatchewan

The Canadian National Railway (C.N.) Yards Management Area located on Chappell Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan consists of the VIA Saskatoon railway station and the train switching yards. These yards are a part of the Confederation Suburban Development Area (SDA). It lies (generally) north of the outskirts of the City and the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344, west of Montgomery Place, south of 11th Street and east of Highway 7. Highway 7 has built an overpass over C.N. tracks where they intersect. This neighbourhood is not to be confused with the C.N. Industrial in the Nutana SDA on the east side of Saskatoon. These two sides of Saskatoon are connected with the Grand Trunk Bridge or CN railway bridge over the South Saskatchewan River.At the intersection of the CNR line and Highway 60 is the location of the Saskatchewan Railway Museum. Currently there are CPR switching yards in the Central Industrial neighbourhood. The City of Saskatoon, Canadian Pacific Railway and the CNR are under negotiations currently to remove these switching yards. This would mean the CPR could use CNR rail lines through the city and be able to use the CN Chappell Yards for switching. Likewise the CNR could run trains along the CPR track through the city and use the Sutherland CPR switching yards. This would involve construction of a connecting switching yard between CP and CN rail lines near 11th Street and Dundonald which could be done as part of the new Circle Drive South Bridge extension project.

The Blairmore Suburban Centre is a community service/commercial/residential community currently under development in western Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It is part of the city's Blairmore Suburban Development Area, a large region annexed from the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 in 2005. Ultimately, the SDA will consist of seven new neighbourhoods, plus the Blairmore Suburban Centre, which is the first component of the SDA to be developed. The suburban centre lies south of 22nd Street West, which is also Saskatchewan Highway 14. Saskatchewan Highway 7 forms the area's western boundary as it links to the site of a proposed interchange at 22nd Street; prior to 2012, however, the highway was temporarily aligned with Betts Avenue within the suburban centre until a new roadway was later constructed. The community also dovetails with the final phase of construction of the adjacent Parkridge community to the south. At present, the suburban centre consists of two high schools Tommy Douglas Collegiate and Bethlehem High School, plus a recreation/civic centre named Shaw Centre which opened the fall of 2008.; the three facilities are unique in Saskatoon as they are the first to be physically connected as one large building, allowing sharing of recreation amenities.

The Saskatoon station is a railway station in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The city's only active railway station, it is located eight kilometers from the central business district. When it opened, the station hosted several arrivals and departures each day, although it is now only serviced by Via Rail's The Canadian. The station is equipped with a ticket counter, and waiting room. The station was declared a heritage railway station by the federal government in 1996.The station was built in 1964 in the International Style, as part of the Chappell rail yards, by Canadian National Railway as a union station replacing the Old Canadian Pacific Saskatoon Railway Station.

AgPro Industrial is a small industrial subdivision located in west Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Located in the Confederation SDA along 11th Street West and nestled between the residential communities of Fairhaven and Montgomery Place. 11th Street provides direct access to Saskatchewan Highway 7 and the newly completed Circle Drive. A large portion of AgPro Industrial's east end was redesignated for residential development as a result of 11th Street being realigned to make way for the southwest Circle Drive extension and was subsequently absorbed by Montgomery Place; as of 2014 development of multi-family apartments has taken place.

Parkridge is a residential community in western Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, located on land annexed by the city between 1975 and 1979. Development of the subdivision initially began in the early 1980s. The extreme west end of the neighbourhood remained undeveloped until the subsequent creation of the adjacent Blairmore Suburban Centre led to the final phase of Parkridge being built out in the early 2010s. Whereas the majority of residents are employed in the sales and service sector, the next highest employer is business, finance and administration. The two main age groups are those in their 40s and teenagers as of 2005. Until recently Parkridge was the farthest western neighbourhood of Saskatoon south of 22nd Street. However, new construction will soon see Neighbourhood 2 of the Blairmore SDA bear that claim to fame. In comparison, the neighbourhood of Parkridge with a 2001 census population of 4,505 is larger than the Saskatchewan city of Melville which had a population of 4,149 in 2006, and 4,453 in 2001 and Parkridge is a little smaller than the provincial city of Humboldt which was 4,998 in 2006, and 5,161 in 2001. In Saskatchewan rural towns must maintain a population above 5,000 to apply for city status. According to MLS data, the average sale price of a home as of 2013 was $327,072.

Blairmore Suburban Development Area (SDA) is an area in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada). It is a part of the west side community of Saskatoon. It lies (generally) north of the outskirts of the City and the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344, west of downtown Saskatoon, and the Core Neighbourhoods SDA, south of the North West Industrial SDA, and west of the Confederation SDA. Most of the Blairmore SDA consists of undeveloped land annexed by the city in the mid-2000s. A total of nine neighbourhoods, primarily residential in nature, are ultimately planned for the SDA. As of late 2019, two are in the process of development: the commercial/residential Blairmore Suburban Centre and the residential community Kensington. A third residential area, Elk Point, is also in its early stages.

Saskatoon Fairview is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. The district includes the neighbourhoods of Kensington, Parkridge, Pacific Heights, Blairmore S. C., Confederation Park and part of Massey Place. Contrary to the name, the neighbourhood of Fairhaven is not part of the riding. The riding was created prior to the 1982 election from parts of Biggar, Saskatoon Westmount and Saskatoon Riversdale.

Tommy Douglas Collegiate Institute is a high school located in the Blairmore Suburban Centre district of western Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, serving students from grades 9 through 12. It is named for Tommy Douglas, the "Father of Canadian Medicare," leader of the Saskatchewan Co-operative Commonwealth Federation and premier of Saskatchewan from 1944 to 1961. The school is unique among Saskatoon public schools in that it is the first to be physically connected to both a regional recreation complex (Shaw Centre) and to a Catholic/separate school (Bethlehem Catholic High School). Its feeder schools are Dundonald School, Ernest Lindner School, Fairhaven School, James L. Alexander School, Lester B. Pearson School, Montgomery School, Wâhkôhtowin School and École Henry Kelsey.

Bethlehem Catholic High School is a separate (Catholic) high school in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, that opened in August 2007. It is located off 22nd Street West in the Blairmore Suburban Centre neighbourhood. Bethlehem serves students living on the west side of Circle Drive. This school integrates faith and learning in a facility featuring a chapel, two gymnasiums and a theatre. It is physically connected to the public high school Tommy Douglas Collegiate through the adjacent Shaw Centre recreation facility. Bethlehem was named after the birthplace of Jesus Christ, the foundation of the Christian religion. On June 7, 2009, a fire destroyed an addition containing portable classrooms still under construction. Damage was estimated at $750,000. The fire caused only minor damage to the existing building. The cause of the fire was determined to be arson.In 2011, work began on four classrooms to be added to the existing portables. Currently its feeder schools are Bishop Klein School, Bishop Roborecki School, Father Vachon School, St. Dominic School, St. Gerard, St. Marguerite School, St. Lorenzo Ruiz Catholic School, St. Mark School and St. Peter School.

Montgomery Place is a post-World War II community erected for veterans outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, that consists primarily of residential homes. It was amalgamated within the city of Saskatoon in 1956, and is now a National Historic Site. Montgomery Place has an average household size of 3.2 persons, and homeownership is at 93.7%. According to MLS data, the average sale price of a home as of 2013 was $403,840. It was named in honour of Field Marshal The 1st Viscount Montgomery of Alamein, the famous Ulster Scots commander in the British Army during the Second World War.

CJWW (Country 600 CJWW) is a Canadian radio station, airing a country format at 600 AM in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The station is owned by Elmer Hildebrand via 629112 Saskatchewan Ltd. (trading as Saskatoon Media Group). It shares studios with sister stations CKBL-FM and CJMK-FM at 219 Robin Crescent (as of June 21, 2021). Originally launching at 1370 AM on January 12, 1976, it moved to 750 in 1985, and finally to 600 (the former AM location of sister station CFQC radio) in 1995. When it went on the air, CJWW had an easy listening format. In 1980, the station flipped to its current country format.

Kensington is a neighbourhood located in west Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada that began construction in 2013. Around 2028, Kensington will reach completion and have an estimated population of 8,300. Kensington will feature Saskatoon's first application of the fused grid street network.
