Beaudry is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Ville-Marie, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Green Line. It is in Montreal's Gay Village, part of the Centre-Sud district. Although part of the original network of the Metro, it opened two months after the rest of the network, on December 21, 1966.

The Ouimetoscope was the first Canadian theatre dedicated exclusively to showing movies.Inaugurated on 1 January 1906 at the corner of Saint Catherine and Montcalm Streets, in Montreal, Canada from a converted cabaret with 500 seats and a small screen, it was demolished to be replaced with a luxurious 1,200 seat movie palace that featured air conditioning.For eighteen years, the Ouimetoscope was the venue for French and American cinema supplemented with local production, accompanied by live musicians.

Black Eagle (French: Aigle Noir or L'Aigle Noir) is a gay bar in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It attracts "leather and jeans" clientele, and screens pornography. The venue has theme nights, "draws a devoted crowd of 20-40 something men", and caters to the bear and leather subcultures.

18 Shades of Gay is an art installation by Claude Cormier along Sainte-Catherine Street in Montreal's Gay Village, in Quebec, Canada.The work was initially installed in 2011 and consisted of pink plastic balls. In 2017, the pink balls were replaced with multi-coloured balls. The installation was retired in 2019.

Olympia Theatre is an historic concert venue in Gay Village, Montreal, Quebec. Built in 1925, it is located at 1004 Saint Catherine Street East. The hall has a capacity of up to 2,438 seats.

Librairie L'Androgyne was an LGBT-oriented bookstore in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, active from 1973 to 2002.Founded in 1973 by a collective headed by Will Aitken, Bruce Garside, Barbara Scales and John Southin, the store was originally located on Crescent Street at a time when the city's gay village was still centred on the nearby Stanley Street. The store specialized in LGBT literature, feminist literature, and non-sexist children's books, stocking titles in both English and French. Being one of the very few places outside of bars where queer people could congregate, L'Angrogyne became a centre of cultural and political activity. Displaying posters for events, selling tickets for concerts and hosting meetings were only some of the activities undertaken especially when it became a volunteer collective operation in the coming years. We saw one another in daylight in a place dedicated to openness and community. Everyone including researchers came by since the book collection was open to the public and in many ways unparalleled. By 1976 the store was entirely operated by a group of volunteers none of whom owned it or received any compensation. While the composition of the group was in constant flux, a core group of individuals kept it open. (Mark, Ross, Suzanne, Philip, Beth, Laura, Lawrence and a few more). For most of its history, it was one of just four LGBT-oriented bookstores in Canada, alongside Glad Day Bookshop in Toronto, Little Sister's in Vancouver and After Stonewall in Ottawa.In 1982, the store moved to a small upstairs location on Saint Laurent Boulevard. The store was acquired the following year by two of the volunteers, Philip Rappaport and Lawrence Boyle. In 1986 Boyle took sole possession of the store, moving it to the larger ground floor location where it became best known. In the 1980s, the store, like Glad Day and Little Sister's, ran into issues with Canada Customs frequently delaying or blocking shipments of books to the store.Boyle sold the store to France Désilets in 1995; Désilets, in turn, sold the store to Bernard Rousseau, the owner of the Priape chain, in 2001, although she stayed on as the store's manager. In the same year, the store moved to its final location, on Amherst Street (now named Rue Atateken) in the relocated Gay Village. Due to the early 21st-century decline of LGBT-oriented independent bookstores across North America, however, the store closed by 2002; unlike Glad Day, which survived in this era by adding sex-related merchandise, such as gay and lesbian pornography, to its catalogue, Rousseau opted not to do so as he would mainly have been cannibalizing his own sales at Priape.in Montreal, there is a successor bookstore, L’Euguelionne, which acknowledges Librairie Androgyne as its predecessor.

Maison Radio-Canada (English: CBC House) is the broadcast headquarters, studios and master control for all French-language radio and television services of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (known in French as Société Radio-Canada/SRC) including its flagship station CBFT-DT. It is also the main studio for Montreal's local English-language CBC services (CBMT-DT, CBME-FM, and CBM-FM) and the headquarters of Radio Canada International, the CBC's digital international broadcasting service. The street address of Maison Radio-Canada is 1400 René Lévesque Boulevard East, named for former premier René Lévesque who was once a reporter and commentator for the CBC. The building is situated near the studios of CTV (CFCF-DT), Noovo (CFJP-DT), RDS, RDS Info, MétéoMédia, LCN, and TVA (CFTM-DT) which are at the intersection of Papineau Avenue. The analogous facility for CBC's English-language networks is the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto. CBC's corporate headquarters for both languages are in Ottawa at the CBC Ottawa Broadcast Centre.

Papineau Avenue (officially in French: avenue Papineau) is the longest north–south street in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The part of the street between Henri Bourassa Boulevard and Quebec Autoroute 40 is the Montreal portion of Quebec Autoroute 19, commonly referred to as Autoroute Papineau. North of Henri Bourassa Boulevard, it becomes a true autoroute before crossing the Rivière des Prairies on the Papineau-Leblanc Bridge. In the south, the avenue ends at Notre-Dame Street.It traverses the boroughs of Ville-Marie, Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Villeray-St-Michel-Parc-Extension and Ahuntsic-Cartierville. The street is named after Joseph Papineau, Lower Canadian politician and father of Louis-Joseph Papineau, the leader of the reformist Patriote movement and belligerent in the Lower Canada Rebellion of 1837.

Le Stud, or Bar Le Stud, is a gay bar in Montreal's Gay Village, in Quebec, Canada. Established in 1996, the bar caters to bears and the leather subculture. The business has since been criticized for not allowing women in the past, but no longer has such a policy following a discrimination complaint that was filed in 2007.
