Breakglass Studios is a Canadian analogue and digital recording studio established in 2005. Co-founded by producer Dave Smith and Jace Lasek, the 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) studio space is located in the Le Plateau-Mont-Royal area of Montreal, Quebec. Since its inception, the studio has had a third partner in James Benjamin.Local and international bands have recorded there, such as The Besnard Lakes, Les Breastfeeders, Bionic, Holy Fuck, Islands, Patrick Watson, Stars, Sunset Rubdown, Human Human, Dead Messenger, The Unicorns, Voilà!, Wintersleep, Wolf Parade, Purity Ring, The Annoying, The Loodies and The World Provider.Patrick Watson's album, Close to Paradise, recorded at Breakglass Studio, was awarded the Polaris Music Prize in 2007.Breakglass has a collection of vintage and new equipment. Available is a 1968 Neve Pre 80 Series input console. Originally built by Rupert Neve and refurbished by Hutch at Manley in 1994 (recapped, rewired, functionally upgraded), it is the first 16-buss Neve console ever produced. In 2012, Breakglass opened up a second mixing and tracking suite featuring an SSL 9080J console.

De Castelnau station is a Montreal Metro station in the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Blue Line. It is located in the Villeray district.

Parc station, also known as Park Avenue station and formerly Jean-Talon station (French: Gare Jean-Talon), is a historic railway station building in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Its western end currently houses the Montreal Metro's Parc station, while businesses occupy the rest of the building. The main building no longer serves the railway; the Exo commuter rail Parc station is adjacent. It is located on Jean-Talon Street at the end of Park Avenue in the Park Extension neighbourhood of the borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension. The station was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1931. Its traffic declined in the 1950s and it closed in 1984 when Via Rail transferred service to lines headed into Montreal Central Station. The City of Montreal purchased the building and the western end was converted as a metro station and the remainder of the building was adapted for business use. It currently houses a Joe Fresh outlet.

Mila - Quebec AI Institute (originally Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms) is a research institute in Montreal, Quebec, focusing mainly on machine learning research. Approximately 800 researchers, including faculty and students, were part of Mila in 2021.

Jean-Talon Market (French: Marché Jean-Talon) is a farmer's market in Montreal. Located in the Little Italy district, the market is bordered by Jean-Talon Street to the north, Mozart Ave. to the south, Casgrain Ave. to the west and Henri-Julien Ave. to the east. It contains two city-maintained streets both called Place du Marché du Nord. The market is located between the Jean-Talon and De Castelnau metro stations. It is the largest market in Montreal and the largest open-air market in North America.

Laurier-Dorion is a provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of the neighbourhoods of Villeray and Park Extension in the city of Montreal. It was created for the 1994 election from parts of Laurier and Dorion electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged.

It occupies a quadrilateral bounded by Jean Talon Street, Bloomfield Street, de l'Épée Avenue, and Greenshields Street. It was named in honor of the ancient Greek goddess Athena, by the City of Montreal in 1986.

Park Extension (French: Parc-Extension) is a neighbourhood in the city of Montréal, Québec. It is located in the borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension and has a population of 33,800 and an area of 1.6 km² (400 acres). The name derives from the fact that it is situated at the north end of Park Avenue and is literally an "extension" of the artery. The area is known by locals as "Park Ex."

Laurier was a former provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of the province of Quebec, Canada. It corresponded to the Parc-Extension neighbourhood in Montreal. It was created for the 1966 election from parts of Laval, Montréal-Laurier, and Montréal-Outremont electoral districts. Its final election was in 1989. It disappeared in the 1994 election and its successor electoral district was Laurier-Dorion. It was named in honour of former Canadian Prime Minister Wilfrid Laurier.

Dante Park (French: Parc Dante) is a park in the Little Italy neighbourhood of the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It covers about one-third of a local city block, bordered by Dante Street to the north, Alma Street to the east, residential buildings to the south, and de Gaspe Street to the west. The park was inaugurated on June 26, 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the predominantly Italian Canadian parish of the Church of the Madonna della Difesa. It is located opposite the church. Dante Park was named for Dante Street, which itself was named for Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) a major Italian poet of the Late Middle Ages, who authored Divine Comedy, which is widely considered the most important poem of the Middle Ages and the greatest literary work in the Italian language.
